- Cameo has been released from her short term contract with UWF. Cameo was originally brought back to manage Dark Horse Randall Osbourne during his feud with Alex Kidd, but due to Osbournes injury which has him sidelined for several months, the creative team felt they had nothing for her. So instead of finding something else for her to do, the decision was made to let her go. It is said that she will return home to Philadelphia, where she owns a floral shop and is likely to be done with the wrestling business for good.

- Uriah Hawkins has opted not to sign a new contract with the federation. His contract was up for renewal, but he and the UWF legal team couldnt come to terms, and he and UWF have decided to part ways on good terms. As per the trend as of late, UWF has given him full clearance, which will allow Hawkins to compete in other feds right away, instead of being bound to the standard 90 day no compete clause.

- On the injury front, "Dead End" Derek Martin required three stitches to close the cut on the lip he suffered during his melee with Alex Kidd on SNR. The injury will not impact their upcoming Rise to Power match. The only serious injury from Rampage belonged to referee Scott Ingraham after falling through the ropes headfirst to the floor below. The long time official was legitimately knocked out and required medical assistance. Despite the worries of a few backstage neither Sabbath nor EW4 were injured too badly in their hardcore rules match. Both men will be able to take part in their matches at the PPV.

- With the talk of roster cuts on the horizon, and Cameos release possibly being the start, many mid-card talents are feeling a little worried about their position in the company. Another big scare for them is that there is talk of re-signing several marquee wrestlers from UWFs past, but officials are keeping quiet on this one, which is just adding to wrestlers fears.

- There is some discussion already going down in regards to UWFs tenth anniversary Gold Rush show. Also some officials have recently been pushing for the promotion to bring back its Road to The Gold battle royal and the Lethal Lottery event.

- The UWF is currently renegotiating their current contract with NBC. The current contract to air Saturday Night Rampage expires in June. As part of the new deal, some side projects are being pitched that would see Doomsayer Kyle Lee guest star on an episode of Joey, Edmond Winston IV compete on the next Apprentice, and Dave Rogers to play the Canadian Prime Minister on West Wing. And on related notes, The Frat Boys Chris OBrien & Brian McKenzie recently lost out on a bid to compete on CBSs The Amazing Race, losing out to former Survivor contestants Boston Rob and Amber. And in box office news, The Hands of Death are in negotiations to have cameo appearances in the next X-Men movie. No word on who they will be portraying, but given their demeanor and appearance, one can only surmise they will be villainous henchmen. Several fansites are lobbying for Caliban to play Omega Red.

- Gold Rush 2005 will not be held in the traditional Silverdome venue. INstead, it shall be held in at Ford Field, detroit, MI.

- While on tour in the southern states, a vignette was actually filmed of The Pride (Daniels, Landis & Team Canada) touring a part of Austins inter-city, as a shot to One Wing Angel and Amity. However it was scrapped from airing on television due to officials being afraid of what censors would think, given the recent fines the FCC has been dishing out.

- There is talking of calling up the Eurasian Heavyweight champion, Colby Greene to the main roster. Word is that officials have been impressed with his in-ring work overseas and in RCW here in the States, however many feel that he is still too green and rough behind the edges. It is apparently the creative team pushing hardest for his promotion, but there is no word yet on why creative has such in interest in Greene.

- UWF officials have entered long term contract neogotiations with Shadoe & Derek Rage, The Prophets of Rage. The Prophets were each signed to short term contracts when they first appeared on UWF television. Those contracts are up post-Rise To Power, and depending how the neogotiations go, could play a heavy factor on how the Rise To Power chain match with The Hands of Death turns out.
