- Rumors of a first NOR-CAL card circulating via tape traders have
the suits at NOR-CAL worried. While the card didn't count, it was
used to work out the kinks of running the operation, and the suits
are worried that people may see that very rough product as symbolic
of the shows the fed will be putting out. They seem to be trying to
put the kibosh on further distribution of that card.
- Heading into the first Talk is Cheap flash show on Monday night,
there are many names fans are looking to hear from. Everyone knows
about Mad Hayashi, Spikyjim, Sabbath, Setzer Van Strife... but the
two men who might be creating the most buzz are "Primetime" Marcus
Hicks and Vincent Lyons. Insiders say to watch these men carefully,
as they may be cornerstones of the future of NOR-CAL. And they may
show it this Monday.
- Spikyjim being banned from the building for the first NOR-CAL
Experience card may have something to do with NEO's purchase of NOR-
CAL. He has had his problems with NEO in the past, and any hopes
Spikes may have had of seeing an oasis in the desert in NOR-CAL may
have been dashed with the signing of that sale.
- Two tag teams are set to debut in the next couple weeks. One is an
unknown, mysterious team from Japan. The other is a well-known,
chaotic team from America. Odds are they won't mesh well.
- Look for about four more debuts after this first card of wrestlers
who squeaked in to NOR-CAL. And look for two of them to be two of
the most hated, feared, intense men in the history of the sport.
That's all the clues we are being given.
