The Rumble Pro world heavyweight championship. The most prestigious
belt in Rumble Pro, no doubt, currently held by Justin Kell.
But it _does_ say "world" heavyweight championship, correct?
Today, Rumble Pro Wrestling announced something revolutionary, and
to our knowledge something not done by any other promotion in the
world.
As you may or may not know, Rumble Pro ranks its competitors with
a "top 5" system, something definitely not unheard of. Rumble Pro
president Chris Chronic also announced today that from now on,
unless under very special circumstances, wrestlers will not be able
to get a shot at the #1 contendership for the world title unless
they are in the top 5 rankings.
Now, however, Rumble Pro is offering _ANYBODY_ in the world of
wrestling a chance to fight for the Rumble Pro world heavyweight
title. Today, Chris Chronic announced that Rumble Pro will add, in
addition to the current top 5 rankings, a separate non-Rumble Pro
top 5 rankings system with wrestlers from around the world ranked
based on their wins and losses in promotions other than Rumble Pro.
Wrestlers ranked will not be permanent members of Rumble Pro, but
will be brought in for title matches when they reach the #1 ranking
in the top 5. This means that the Rumble Pro world heavyweight
champion (whether it be Justin Kell or his next challenger, Van
Wild) could defend the title from wrestlers representing NEO-Pro,
IGA, KAWF, All Pro Grappling, RCW, PWR, or any other promotion in
America, Canada, or the rest of the world.
Chronic announced today an open invitation for any wrestler or is
not a member of the current Rumble Pro roster to contact him ASAP if
they are interested in being part of the non-Rumble Pro top 5
ranking system, and are interested in earning themselves a shot at
the Rumble Pro world title. After all, it's a "world" title...
...and now the world has the chance to fight for it.
