--NEO Pro Wrestling has recently changed their official company name
to NEO Pro International... a taste of things to come? Officials
have been hush about what this entails though recent trips to Japan
by company officials leaves some thick hints.
--The rumor mill is churning recently, the biggest being an apparent
offer for NEO Pro International to acquire all name and library
rights to the Master of the Ring franchise.
--Interestingly, Johnny Malibu was to win the International
Cruiserweight at one point. Officials were mega high on the young
prospect and on Armani Exchange as a whole until backstage problems
regrding timeliness started developing.
--The winner of The Sky's the Limit ,if a NEO-Pro contracted
competitor, will get a shot a Sushi Tsunami's as yet to be defended
International Cruiserweight Championship. There was talk of him
putting it on the line in TSTL 4 but that idea was soon scrapped.
--The INVASION! following TSTL 4, entitled Partners in Crime, will
feature a tag theme with all matches being tags. The International
Trios Championships will be on the line as the current champions
John Shock/Pak/Corey Hart defend against newcomers, HEROIN. NEO-Pro
Tag Team Champions BMW Deluxe will also defend their titles, likely
against Youth Gone Wrong or perhaps even the Ewiaks. The main event
alrady has people buzzing as The International Hate Machine is
reborn!
Hannibal Carver, Johnny Pleasance and the Odd Couple will take on
Trent Davidson, Derek Irvin and the Bishonen!! Also likely is a
women's 6 person tag with Fantasy Girl, Laura Davis and Sonya
Benedict facing Cheryl Reese, Nina Larue and Talia Wichzini.
--Officials are said to be pleased beyond expectations with Trent
Davidson so far, believing he should be able to main event for some
time. His feud with Hannibal Carver has everyone buzzing.
--Ideas for a secondary singles title have been shelved for the time
being. NEO-Pro wanted to run the Pan Am Cup for what was going to
be the "Pan American Championship" with Psicopa, Derek Irvin, Johnny
Pleasance and John Shock among the field of eight. Plans for a
women's tag championship were also dissolved.
--Look for NEO-Pro to visit the Sand Dollar Marina sometime this
tour!
--The NEO-Pro/BSCW joint show is apparently still a go despite
recent production/financial troubles within the Boston based
company. The show would have been headlined with a Hannibal
Carver/Spikyjim deathmatch.
--Pablo O'Connor, currently managing the Grand Empire, is doing so
to rest some long time injuries. He does want to return though, the
company having several ideas in mind for future feuds.
--Trent Davidson was accosted by a rather large black woman in a
local bar recently. While eating a ham sandwich his crotch was
grabbed, the woman apparently saying she was the
dominant 'motherfucker in this joint' and if she told him to go home
with her he would because that's how dominant she is. Davidson
offered her the sandwich to distract her, running for his life.
