Chock Full's Pre-Tax Rundown! Sex, Lies, Drugs, Lawsuits, and More in This Edition of the Rumour Mill!
By Chock Full

Chock Full here for another rip-roaring edition of dirt and stuff. Seems I got a good deal of people asking me [or threatening me] about the last Chock Full report, but those dolts failed to see the date that the report was posted... Guess they don't have a sense of humor! Anyway, onto the dirt!

- RCW has finalized the contract negotiations with Adam Rogers, one of the few actual reports from the April 1st Chock Full Rumour Mill. Rogers will debut on the first show after Caged Rage III and will most likely feud with someone he hasn't ever before, like Alex Extreme.

- In other RCW news, talks of forming a face stable to counter Widow Makers Inc looks to be true - Madison J. Valentine and Doc Holliday would be in there and to fill the third spot may be a new face. The thought is the feud could come to a head at the next RCW pay-per-view in a War Games match-up.

- In some distressing new, the rumor around BSCW is that one-half of the Nightlife team, Simon Rhodes, was given an intervention by friends at his apartment in Raleigh, North Carolina and has been sent to rehabilitation for drug and alcohol abuse. Rhodes, 23, has a long-storied history of alcohol abuse and was rumored to have started using heroin. Tag team partner Joey Spencer recently had to wrestle a handicap match on an indy show in South Carolina when Rhodes showed up under the influence and demanded his money up front before wrestling. The promoter refused. Spencer, furious, is the one who set up the intervention according to the rumor but did not participate. More news as this develops, especially since Nightlife is scheduled to appear on the next BSCW show.

- Looks likes the good people at PWR have sent a cease and desist order against Just the Facts, stating continuing slander against the promotion... but we here at Just the Facts and especially me, Chock Full, won't bother recognizing the order. We're rebels, damnit! So, on that note...

- PWR announced the big surprise earlier this week - a supposed drug problems that has been haunting Caleb Temple throughout his career. In an interview with PWR owner Todd Michaelson, he stated that Temple grew an addiction to pain killers while he wrestled in EMWC as Temple kept upping the ante with his ultra-violent matches. Michaelson went on to say that the addiction was the reason that EMWC fired Temple as well as why I-Slash didn't resign Temple at the end of his contract. As well, Temple's recent appearance at the end of PWR's first show was explained that Temple was a desperate man who's out of work and just wanted to get back in the business, but after being rejected by Michaelson - along with countless other feds - he took out his aggresion on the owner of the small Southern California federation.

However, just today, Caleb Temple released the following response to that interview:

My name is Caleb Temple. I am a professional wrestler, and for several years I worked for Chris Blue's Los Angeles-based organisation, the EMWC. For the few of you unfamiliar with that promotion, the "E" in that acronym stood for "Extreme". And for many, many years, so did I. Chris Blue recruited me for his promotion knowing that my - what some might call - penchant for violence, would fit well with the very ethos of his brand. And again, for many, many years, it did. Our relationship was mutually beneficial. I was allowed to participate in matches which elsewhere I would not have been afforded the opportunity. Matches which could have occurred nowhere else but the E. Chamber of Horrors. Hall of Mirrors. And of course, the Killing Box. And Chris? In return, Chris Blue was given the most valuable commodity of all: my blood.

This week, Todd Michaelson aimed a despicable and vile calumny upon my character. Todd Michaelson, a man I once respected - and my respect is given sparingly - called me a drug addict in some vain attempt to bolster his own fledgling wrestling school/promotion. Now while I understand his reasons for this act of treachery, I cannot stand idly by and allow these comments to go unanswered.

As I stated in my opening remarks, the EMWC was a promotion legendary for bloodshed and violence. And while I have neither complaints nor regrets in my sizeable contribution to making that so, I will concede that going to such lengths, day in, day out, over a period of several years, takes a severe toll, both mentally and unfortunately, physically. It is with this admission that I will concede that, during my time with the EMWC, from time to time I did find it necessary to take pain-killing injections. However, working for a company with such a punishing schedule and with such high demands, I was not alone.

Nor was I the worst. In terms of drug abuse, there truly were no "Angels" in the EMWC.

The extent of my "addiction" was pain-killers administered by the EMWC's medical staff... and overseen by Chris Blue and Todd Michaelson. The reasoning? Hurt workers do not a healthy profit make. I was encouraged by the promotion, and by the leading lights within, to do whatever was necessary in order to perform. Out of loyalty to the company, and I now see that loyalty was misplaced, I have remained silent.

Todd, I can only assume your comments were made with the sole purpose of promoting PWR. Or perhaps you do have some ulterior motive, Todd? Perhaps you're once again trying to do what you did while I was working in Canada? "BN" is a man who has known me for many years, Todd. Did you think the details of your call to him would not find their way to me? Did you think I would be fired without knowing of your vile lies?

_You_ wrecked what I had in Canada, Todd. Just as you did in Los Angeles. Just as you are trying to do now.

But I will not be buried, Todd. I will not go gently into that good night. I will continue to rage against the dying of the light. I will rise from this and stand atop the smoking ruins of the house you now try to build upon my name.

Trust me.

- In other wrestling news, I-Slash has finally gotten ahold of their behind-the-scenes problems and have stated that In Cold Blood will happen by the end of the month. What the bigger problem is for the Canadian federation is just who will wrestle as many of the roster have gone elsewhere to collect a paycheck. Dangerous thing is that I-Slash is thinking of offering big contracts to indy stars with some buzz... but of the ones still out there, they're either too green, injured, or never have been on a big time promotion's roster.

- NEO-Pro will announce next week what federation it will contract with for talent. As stated in an earlier report here on Just the Facts, NEO-Pro has been in negotiations with a smaller federation in hopes of creating a developmental territory for the Canadian fed, as well as shirking the thought of NEO being just a local promotion. Based recent and past dealings, BSCW seems to be a leader but it's doubtful they'd give away control as they could easily bound up to and past NEO-Pro's current heights. PWR, as well, could be in the running since they could use the financial backing and offer its students an ultimate place to go to after their time's up in training.

- Former wrestling personality and Daimyo manager, Ms. Miki, has finally turned up again... in the porn industry! She released this week "Ms. Miki's Purrro", an odd assortment of Daimyo's Japanese matches with Miki's, um, "scenes" mixed in. Thanks to whoever "TJ" is for this tidbit of news.

- The Gremlin, former GLCW and EMWC star, has had some time during his retirement to do something he's wanted to do for a long time... acting! Yes, Gremmy's signed a deal to star the movie based on comic book star The Falcon. If that's a hit - and based on current comic-to-movie films, it could very well be - look for the Gremlin to keep his retirement going with that acting career.

- On the latest RCw Impact, manager and current CFF owner Goku Waru - along with the Mysterious Suited Guy - reappeared to manager Tommy Stephens once again. However, what could be interesting is that Waru has a wrestler named the "Rover City Kid" that comes out to RCW's theme music and basically is a goof in the ring. When the character was developed, Goku was angry that RCW never contacted him to rejoin the roster and created the character as a backlash when he bought out the very small promotion in January. But the relations between Goku & RCW bettered and he got signed again, so... what will happen with the River City Kid? Who knows, but I doubt he'll be around any time longer.

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnnnnnnnndddddddddddddddd...... That's all I got! Seems my spies took the week off for the holiday [shiftless bums], so they'll be more in the next edition of Chock Full!
