Chock Full's April 1st Extravaganza! HUGE, HUGE, HUGE news all around to shock and surprise!
By Chock Full

Whoo! Boy oh boy do we have a load of news for you all today! Some big blockbuster stuff here [and not Bob!]... Anyway, on with the dirt.

- BSCW's back after some behind-the-scenes staffing trouble, but now they find themselves in an on-the-scenes roster bind. Much of the roster has been gutted due to their poor performance, and even after big signings of Higor Rosa and Michelle Bailey, they're looking for more talent. They've had their eyes on some of the former GIW and LWC wrestlers and will meet with many from those groups. One name they're particularly fond of is Bobby Ray Wilkins, the last GIW TV Champion.

- NEO-Pro just crowned their new champion, ridding themselves of Jacob Cross and a whole lot off the roster... So now the search for new talent begins and it looks like the Canadian-fed-turned-big will start raiding the indy scene to replenish their roster. They've already nabbed the biggest jewel of the indies, "Bad Eye" McBaine and Johnny Pleasance, and word is that they're targetting two other big names in City Jack and Tony Cameron.

- RCW has announced that at Caged Rage 3, they will have an impromptu match up for the World Title. Devon Case has refused to show up and do the right thing by working a last match and letting Juan Vasquez get a true victory, so RCW will have Case vacat the title and bring in someone brand new as a surprise for the title match. Just who will go up against Vasquez? Well, it's been whittled down to two candidates: Adam Rogers or Mark Langseth. My money's on Rogers as he's more eager to come back to the ring than Langseth.

- UWF hasn't announced it yet, but they've been able to lure the greatest duo in wrestling history out of retirement to come over the boarder and wrestle in a UWF ring... Yes, the Syndicate, Tiger Claw and Casey James, WILL return no later than April 20th and will play a large part in the "Marshall Law" angle.

- In addition, UWF is contract talks with former tag team greats Epitome of Cool to come to their federation and take up wrestling once again. It would be interesting to see, but would the rust of all these years tarnish the EoC's image?

- Jeremy Rhodes's new training school, Ronin Dojo, is sending out tapes to the outlets that aired the wrestling shows of the defunct GIW & LWC in hopes of possibly getting a television contract that would feature some Ronin Dojo wrestlers' matches in addition to some puroresu wrestling.

- Former EMWC mainstay Bobby Taylor has been seen walking in and out of the offices of the newly setup GLCW. Word is from my spies in Michigan that Taylor and the GLCW brass are hammering out a contract and should be resolved in the coming days.

- In other GLCW news, expect one or two former GLCW stars to come back to the federation, but in non-wrestling roles. The GLCW staff thinks that many on the roster could benefit from the leadership a Tommy James or Gremlin would bring, so expect to see some familiar faces mixed with the new breed there soon!

- Indy superstar Rembrandt has signed in not one, but TWO places this past weekend: The first will be his home and a place he's been at before - Blood, Sweat, and Chairs Wrestling. The other, though, is a multi-show contract with the Tood Michaelson-SoCal indy fed Pro Wrestling REvolution. Word is that he will feud with Caleb Temple in an on-going program.

- My Chock Spies out of St. Louis tell me that they've signed yet another former UEW'er to add to the Widow Makers Inc. angle... And, in fact, he's also a former RCW wrestler. Yes, the oft maligned "Too Cool" Chris Hopper WILL return at Caged Rage 3 to make an impact on the WMI-Holliday feud. No word on which side he will take as the ink's still wet on the contract.

- Lastly, and this is the biggest of them all... Chris Blue has stated that EMWC - the biggest and grandest federation of them all - will return this summer. Stating boredom - both with his early retirement and with the general wrestling scene - he says he'll bring a new, but equalling talented face to the E with a mostly new roster. More news as this happens!
