First Of the Rumour Mill
By Chock Full

Yes! The Chock Spies and Chock Full are back for more news, rumours and and other bits to tittlate... or something. Anyway, onto the dirt!

- It seems as if the new River City Wrestling and the current wrestling top dog, I-Slash, are in for a war against each other. On top of stealing some notable talent [RCW regulars Luke Kinsey and Shane Destiny], they've been in talks with the I-Slash Unified Champion Steve Spector for an exclusive contract. Early word is that Spector spurned that offer, but the contract itself was enough to make RCW a target to the well established I-Slash.

- Also in IWF/WOW news, they've lost some other key, but replaceable, parts to their roster: Jacob Cross, Trevor Storm, and Hannibal Carver along with the release of tag teams Kill Army and Nightlife. Carver and Cross were underutilized in I-Slash and will most likely go to another fed in addition to their work in NEO. Early word is that Carver's been in talks with RCW and Cross has inked a contract with LWC. Trevor Storm, an I-Slash trained wrestler, might be headed to BSCW along with Nightlife and Kill Army.

- Continuing the I-Slash front, word from my spies there is that they've been in long-term negotiations with former UEW & EMWC star Alex Martinez with a very lucrative contract in hand. No word from the Martinez camp if they've signed, but the contract stipulates a mandatory Unified Title shot along with a program with Steve Spector.

- Grand Isle Wrestling is back and the person they've been targetting ever since they've reopened has been Rembrandt. The talented wrestler's been out of the American circuit ever since GIW closed and is reportedly happy with his current schedule. But GIW is throwing what little money they have at Remmy as he would be their centerpiece for the new version. As well, RCW is in competition and might have the upper hand in signing him as they've got more funds and exposure to offer Rembrandt.

- NEO-Pro has resigned Tripp Shade for another year as they've been very pleased with his output as of late.

- UWF has been hard at work at improving their training camps to bring in more young talent to the top of their shows. Expect to see some new faces in the ring after the big Eve of Destruction PPV.

And that's all my spies have got for me today - check back in later for some more spine-tingling news!
