In November of 1975 I took a cake decorating class.  To my surprise, I was pretty good at this cake decorating thing.  I started out small, decorating cakes for family and a few friends.  By the time my 2nd child was born, I was very busy with cakes.  I sought out what it took to become licensed. We had a spare room in our house and between my father and my husband I had my cake room.  The state came in and did their inspection and the rest is history!  The hardest work was yet to come.  Setting up the business isn't as hard as the long hours of work!  Right from the beginning of decorating, I was known for my unique cakes. Each cake is specially designed according to the wishes of the person.  You really need to view the pictures of not only the party cakes, but the wedding cakes as well. Even though it is hard work, it is tons of fun too!!
