Josh's film "Gossip" will be out to buy on VHS on August 6th 2001 (UK). In case you've missed it, "The Skulls" is out to rent in video stores everywhere (UK again). And as far as i know, both films are out on VHS and DVD in the US. Go to amazon.com or amazon.co.uk for more purchasing information

Mr Jackson returned to London after doing some island-hopping in Greece. He did an interview with The Big Breakfast (see Multimedia) and made it into The Evening Standard newspaper. Josh has now returned to Wilmington, NC, to film the 5th season of Dawson's Creek. Josh's new film Lone Star State of Mind has been set a release date (though probably subject to change) - 18 Jan 2002.

Recent pictures found at FanForum states that Josh Jackson was (hopefully still is) in LONDON last weekend. He was pictured outside the Attica club (a celeb hangout) with a girl, as this is a personal matter, i will not post the picture here, but for those who wants to see the picture, click here

wow, looks like this summer Josh is busy making films, along with "The Butterfly Effect", and "The Laramie Project", Josh is said to be involved in two other projects. He recently did a gig as a day player on the new Soderbergh film "Ocean's Eleven" starring many well-known actors including George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Julia Roberts.
Also, its said that Josh Jackson also has a small role in Fox's anticipated horror anthology "Night Visions". Tthanks to my co-producer Josh for the news, for more detailed information, click here

"There's a plaque in the traffic triangle on Santa Monica and Crescent Heights in West Hollywood dedicated to the memory of 19-year-old gay student Matthew Shepard. Shepard was murdered, his body strung on a post outside Laramie, Wyoming, and the two assassins have since been convicted to consecutive life sentences..."

Josh has been rumoured to be in a new Cable TV Movie called "The Laramie Project"
HOLLYWOOD (Variety) - Laura Linney, Steve Buscemi and Christina Ricci have signed up to headline the ensemble cast of ``The Laramie Project,'' HBO's cable TV movie about the murder of gay college student Matthew Shepard. The previously announced project, which starts shooting Wednesday, will also feature Janeane Garofalo, Joshua Jackson, Camryn Manheim, Jeremy Davies and Peter Fonda. Bill Irwin, Mark Webber, Dylan Baker and Terry Kinney complete the cast. "The Laramie Project'' portrays those directly affected by the events surrounding 19-year-old Shepard's death and the subsequent trials. Moises Kaufman will direct from his stage play of the same name, with HBO targeting an air date later this year. more info... click here

News have been updated about Chasing Holden, but unfortunately, Josh's name has not been mentioned at all. I guess it was all just rumours, or the negotiations didn't go well...nevermind! here's a premise of the film anyway from Upcomingmovies.com:
"This is the story of a student (Qualls) at a military boarding school who goes on a journey that parallels that of the character, Holden Caulfield in the J.D. Salinger novel, The Catcher in the Rye (hence the title). "While on his journey, he finds emotional and mental healing from the demons of his past." (source: The Hollywood Reporter, 3/6/01) (Blanchard plays Qualls' romantic interest; Kanan plays his English teacher)"
The film is due out for release in Fall/Autumn 2001 in USA
News #2, actors, Vince Vaughn and Steve Buschemmi (who are filming a film in Wilmington) were involved in a late night bar fight at Josh's bar "Firebellys". Steve buschemmi was stabbed in the head, but is now fine (lucky guy!). For the full story, go to E! Online News

The release date for Lone Star State of Mind has been postponed from Autumn/Fall 2001 to Spring 2002 - oh well, y'know, only a couple of months!
Josh's plan for the summer is pretty simple, trek through Northeastern USA, with his buddy Wes. Josh and co have visited 40 or so of the 50 states, so they'll be busy this summer! Wes was featured on Ms Jackson's website and this is what it said:
Young (21) Vancouver actor Wesley Morris, a dual Canada/US citizen has been travelling with his pal Joshua Jackson for the last month. After picking up some crewing work on the Texas location of "Lone Star State of Mind" (in which Joshua stars), and paying some dues, Wesley felt he had learned a lot. In a stroke of Instant Karma, his work paid off. He will play an Island Rasta man in the season's final episode of Dawson's Creek. Wesley is a popular dude in Kits where he has also paid dues at Nat's Pizza. A former member of Vancouver Youth Theatre, he has been an actor for most of his life. His Vancouver acting pals will be happy for him.

I have heard/read that a sequel to The Skulls, named appropriately The Skulls 2, is being made soon. It will be directed by Joe Chapelle but as to whether Josh is going to have the starring role again, I'm not entirely sure. Keep checking back for more info!
Also, B&B star Sean Kanan (Deacon) has written and will star in the upcoming feature film "Chasing Holden". Josh Jackson and Oscar-winning actor William Hurt are in negotiations to round out the cast. Rachel Blanchard (TV's "Clueless") and DJ Qualls (Josh's co-star in The Skulls) are also rumoured to have roles. In The Hollywood Reported, the film is listed as a project that began shooting March 26. The movie is supposedly loosely based on Salinger's book "The Catcher in the Rye". More details shall be presented soon

It has been revealed that Josh was voted number 1 of the Top 10 Perfect Men of Prime Time by Soap Opera Collector�s Issue!!! Woo-hoo! Josh has confirmed that he is NOT dating Alyssa Milano (see Feb 17^th).� In a recent interview he said �As much as I would love for a rumour like this to spread the world over, I�m forced to be the bearer of bad tidings � we�re not dating! I know her through our TV network, but we�re not involved.� � thank you for clearing that up Josh!

Lone Star State of Mind has wrapped its filming on 10/11 March. The film is due out for release in USA in autumn (fall), so look out for it! Meanwhile, Josh is back in Wilmington to continue filming the fourth season of Dawson�s Creek which is due to wrap at the end of March. In a recent online chat with Josh Jackson on his mum�s website, Josh told fans that The Payback All-Star Revue has been cancelled. The film which was planned to start filming in late March was cancelled recently, Josh said it was most likely because of the impending strike. I�ve read in several magazines that Josh is dating Alyssa Milano (Phoebe from Charmed). This is only a rumour/gossip, so I am not at all sure if it is true or not.

ATTENTION: calling out to all Josh fans in UK who have Sky (or Cable), Josh Jackson is making an appearance in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons called Lisa the Treehugger. This episode is due to air on Saturday 10th Feb on Sky One at 7:00pm. DO NOT MISS IT!

Joshua Jackson will apparently be the next actor to play an almost famous Rolling Stone reporter. Icon Productions and Miramax Studios shoot their The Payback All-Star Revue in Las Vegas in late March with Jackson, the co-lead in WB net's Dawson's Creek, cast as an aspiring rock journalist, according to a report circulated among Hollywood's talent agents. In Alan Sereboff's script (with Srdjan Dragojevic directing the shots), Jackson is Matthew Stoddard, who's mostly a copy boy at the Stone. There's a $100 million heist at the Vegas Riviera Casino, staged by an oddball band of faux musicians, and the ringleader, played by Stuart Townsend, insists that he'll surrender only after he can tell his story to Stoddard. In what is becoming something of a film genre, Patrick Fugit played a rock magazine reporter in Almost Famous, while John Travolta did his Rolling Stone turn in Perfect. Lone star state of mind is about to start filming, Josh plays the lead role of Earl Crest (ignore the name, please!) I managed to find a little synopsis for the storyline � looks good!
�Earl Crest, a young, easy-going Texas mechanic of 23 with a savior complex, attempts to keep his fiancee/step-sister, Baby's, idiot younger cousin Junior out of trouble by returning the drugs and money Junior stole from local drug-dealers. When Earl finds he has given the drugs and money to the wrong people, he must get them back, give them to their rightful owners, and restore things back to normal so that he and Baby can leave town and discover the bigger world.�

Josh is set to appear in a future episode of The Simpsons. The episode is confirmed to be called �Lisa the Treehugger� written by Matt Selman. Watch out for it!

Josh is also working on new movies, one of which is a role in the indie feature The Safety of Objects, where he plays Glenn Close's son, who falls into a coma after being in a car accident. Josh is also set to appear in Lone Star State of Mind where he plays a young mechanic whose testimony 20 years ago put away his father's murderer. Now out of prison, the murderer seeks revenge. James King will co-star. Dave Semel makes his directorial debut for Sony Screen Gems. He has directed episodes of several popular teen series, including Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Beverly Hills 90210, and Dawson's Creek. Screenwriter Trevor Munson was one of the 12 finalists in the 1998 Slamdance Screenplay Competition.

As someone has requested to know the marital status of Josh, I have not seen any definite information on that, but I think it�s safe to say that he is SINGLE as he has not yet been rumoured to be going out with anyone after Brittany Daniel.

As you all know, Josh�s car was broken into a while ago, and a lot of personal belongings were stolen including his diary, all his childhood photos as well as clothes and camping gear. But I�ve recently found out that Josh got his diary back � apparently the thief (thieves) felt bad or something and left it at the police station. They returned the diary that Leslie Bibb (The Skulls, Popular) gave him and all his photos.
