Club Champion 2004
After surpressing the memories of our Grand Final defeat of 2003, the All Hacks managed to persuade (or blackmail!) a total number of 27 players in 2004 to play for at least one match, and at times sacrificing their dignity and reputation for a worthwhile cause. After 22 matches in 2004, featuring some glorious moments and some we would rather forget, it is fitting that we celebrate our premiership season, by honouring the player judged the Best and Fairest in 2004 (much to my disappointment, it's not me!).
Club Champion votes are based purely on statistical merit via a 4-3-2-1 basis, as since you all know, statistics never lie (and cannot be disputed)! In response to certain criticisms about the contentious voting system, "sympathy votes" have been distributed to compensate the unfortunate goalkeepers of each match.
Congratulations, Kheang, the All Hacks' Club Champion for 2004. Despite abandoning the team towards the latter end of our triumphant season, Kheang's incredible penchant for converting penalties ensured he wrapped up our prestigious award before Anisha began his barnstorming finish to lift the All Hacks to their inaugural premiership! A true servant to the club!
