Jaden stepped into the beauty supply, and tried to keep her mind on the task at hand, but she couldn't. Justin had become the only thing she thought about in the last twenty four hours. She knew there had to be a way to reconsile their differences, but she was afraid if she tried she would get rejected, and maybe even upset him more. She also had to think of a way to get Chris back for her unexpected shower the day before. She thought about dying his hair an odd color, but didn't think it would go over too well. She needed something that would really embarass him, without any long term effects. She wandered through the aisles, enjoying her time away from the hectic tour life. Next she went to the fabric store, to see if anything caught her eye, then to do the laundry, after dropping her findings for the day at her trailer.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Are you busy?" Justin peeked his head into the door of her trailer to find her curled up on the couch with a book in hand. She quickly marked her place and set it on the countertop that served as an inn table.
"Not at all, sir." She stood to greet him if he chose to move from his place at the door into the trailer.
"Good." He entered the trailer and held a suit jacket up for her to see. "I would appreciate it if you would bring the shoulders in."
"I can do that, if you try it on, sir." He slid the jacket on and she marked where it would need to rest, after her work, with chalk. "Mr. Timberlake?" She asked for his attention before continueing, he hoped she was going to finally ask if she could call him Justin. That would bring him one step closer to getting the issue resolved. "Could you tell me if we are going to be parked here tonight."
"Actually, we will be getting a hotel, the band that is. You will be parked outside of it." He had hoped to dampen her sweet mood, but failed, she kept the same innocent smile, like the comment hadn't effected her the way he had hoped.
"Thank you, sir." She looked down at the jacket in her hands, examining the fine cloth and subtle amazement of the design. "Great suit, Mr. Timberlake, I will have it ready tomorrow."
"Actually I was hoping you could have it done tonight."
"That's no problem, what time do you need it, sir?" She made her way to her bedroom, Justin close behind, and situated it on a dummy.
"Eight, meet me at the back entrance to the hotel." Then without a goodbye or thank you, he left her to work.
"Well, that was fun. We'll have to get together again." Sarcasm dripped from every word, and she had fully intended it to, she hadn't intended on Justin hearing her though.
"Excuse me?" Justin reentered the room, anxious to see her get out of this predicament, or at least try.
"It was a private conversation, with myself." She said matter of factly. "So if you'll excuse me, sir, I have lots to talk about, in private." She said, not missing a beat, or turning the shades of red he would have, had he been caught in a simular situation.
"Sure, see you at eight." Finally he left the trailer, this time leaving her to her work, completely alone.
It was five minutes until eight so she decided to walk to the back door of the hotel to wait for Justin. If all went as planned Justin would be long gone before JC showed up to meet her. Grabbing a tissue from her pocket and holding the suit in the other, she hoped all would go as planned. But leave it to Justin to ruin her plans, twenty minutes later there was no sign of Justin and JC was standing before her.
"You ready?" Amusement flashed in his eyes as he thought of the other side of Jaden only he would see that night, a side none of the other guys had been allowed to see.
"I can't, Justin is running late, and I really don't want to make him more upset than he is." She apologized as JC wondered what it was about Justin that made her try so hard. He knew for a fact that she didn't need this job, Johnny had told him so, there was obviously a reason she was staying after all the hell he had put her through.
  "Well, maybe another night?"
"Definitely another night." JC kissed her cheek before leaving her to wait for Justin, who he was cursing for ruining his night of fun. At almost a quarter till nine, Justin decided to finally show up, acting as if he had not kept her waiting for forty five minutes. He pulled the jacket from her grasp without a word, then ran his eyes over the work.
"Looks almost professional." He lied, it looked like there had never been work done on it.
"Thank you, sir." She sniffled, watching the ground for any sign of entertainment.
"I have more clothes I need tailored."
"Drop them off tomorrow, and I will be happy to do them, Mr. Timberlake." She tried to take a few steps away, but he held onto her arm.
"I was hoping you could come up and get them."
"Lead the way, sir." She didn't know what kind of childish games he was playing, but decided to indulge him, she knew he was boss. He led her to an elevator, and they both stepped in, for a brief second she got nervous about being in the elevator alone with him. Then she remembered that he didn't flirt with her anymore, she had nothing to worry about. Finally, for the first time since the arguement, she lifted her eyes to study his face. Now she knew that looks were deceiving, Justin only looked like a caring sweet guy, but had in no way proved to be so. The elevator came to a halt, and the doors opened to reveal JC.
"Well, he showed up, we back on for tonight?" He pulled Jaden's arm to link with his own, and eyed Justin curiously.
"I have to run to Mr. Timberlake's room with him to pick up some clothes, then we can." She waited for Justin to lead the way to the suite. Justin walked them, arm in arm, into the suite, and to his room.
"What is it laundry?" JC ignored his friend who was obviously on a power trip, and kept his attention on Jaden.
"Tailoring." She smiled up at him, while Justin dug through a bag on his bed.
"I have a  pair of pants I need tailored, can you do them?" He tried to keep the conversation flowing.
"Of course, after I do Mr. Timberlake's." Suddenly Justin piled some clothes into Jaden's arms, which JC immediately took into his own arms, shooting Justin an angry glance. JC knew this had gone too far, Justin had proved his point, he was the boss, but some men were gentlemen despite thier power.
"Let's go." JC tried to pull Jaden from the room to spare what patience she had left but she refused to budge.
"What do you want done to them, sir?" She asked Justin eyeing the clothes piled on one of JC's arms.
"I'll be by later to tell you."
"Well, I should be in my trailer by eleven, if that's too late, you can stop by tomorrow, sir." JC quickly pulled her from the room before Justin had a chance to object. Leaving Justin to fume about the fact JC and Jaden were obviously going on a date. Why couldn't he just apologize? He had meant to everytime he had seen her, but it just never seemed right. He was miserable with the fact they were argueing, but she seemed fine with the idea. If he could just get her to show one sign of remorse, he could apologize, without the fear of rejection. Deciding to let his mind rest for a while, he ran a hot bath to soak in until it was eleven, which was in no way too late to try to apologize again.
