He awoke when JC shut the bathroom door. He reached over for Tiffany to find she wasn't there. He stretched and got out of bed, then ordered cereal from room service. When it was delivered JC was still in the shower. He ate quietly and thought about the day before him. He hoped Tiffany wouldn't watch the AMAs. He knew she had a doctors appointment that day. He wasn't sure if it would keep her from watching. He should have just told her, keeping it from her made him look guilty. When JC finally got out of the shower he went in.

She walked into the room and sat on the table as the doctor had instructed then waited for him to return.
"Do your ribs hurt?" He poked at a few of them, gauging her face for reaction.
"No, they don't even feel like they are broken."
"You heal quicklly, your ribs have pretty much healed. It is unusual but not impossible. You are a very healthy young lady. How often do you work out?"
"As often as possible, usually everyday, but not lately."
"Well your stitches will fall out whenever your wounds have healed. I would guess some time in the next few weeks."
  "Thank you."
"Conitinue to take good care of yourself. It is paying off. I wish every patient I had had your healing abilities."
  "Thank you."
"I have written you a prescription for pain. I doubt you will need it, but it would be a good idea to fill it just in case."
  "I will."
"And don't strian yourself, you are healing quickly but too much strain will cause your body to digress."
  "OK, I won't."
"And no working yet. I will have you come back in two weeks, then I will tell you if you can start work."
"Ok, is it okay if I work on the computer for now?"
"Yes, I see no problem with that." He handed her the perscription, then turned to check his schedule.
  "Good."
"Ok two weeks from today, two oclock okay?"
  "That'll be fine."
  "See you then."
  "Bye bye."
"Bye." She drove to a pharmacy and had the perscription filled, then to a chinese take out place to grab dinner.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  "You ready?"
"Yeah, I'm coming." Justin walked out of the bathroom in his suit for the night.
"Looks good." JC eyed him, fiddling with his cuff links.
  "Thanks."
  "When will Brit be here?"
"Soon, I hope Tiffany isn't watching."
"Why don't you call her and ask?"
  "What would I say?"
"Just ask her what she is doing. I am sure she will tell you if she is going to watch it."
"Ok, I'll be right back." He walked out onto the patio and pulled out his cell. He dialed the familiar number and listened to it ring. When there was no answer he called her cell phone.

"Hello?" She answered after the first ring.
  "Hey angel."
"Hey Justin what are you doing?"
"Not too much, how bout you?"
"Just got some chinese. I'm almost home. I went to the doctor today."
  "What did he say?"
"I am healing quickly and in two weeks I should be able to get back to work."
  "That's good."
"I know, I am so happy. I can't wait to get back to work." She pulled into her driveway and got out of the car.
"Well I just wanted to call and say I love you and I'll be home tomorrow."
"I love you, too. Are you coming over when you get in?"
"Of course. I'll go striaght there."
"OK what time should I expect you?"
  "Uumm around nine."
  "In the morning?"
  "Yeah."
"Ok, I'll have breakfast ready. So don't spoil your appetite."
"You are so sweet, mommy." He teased.
  "Hey, now, none of that."
"The Nick Teen Choice Awards are in a couple of weeks. So I'll be gone agian."
"That's fine. It's quiet without you here."
"Ok, well angel, I have to go. I love you."
  "I love you, too."
  "Bye."
"Bye bye." She hung up the phone and started eating her chinese. He walked back into the room then smiled at JC.
"Not watching?" JC checked the mirror quickly, glancing over the suit to make sure it hung properly from his body.
  "Don't think so."
  "I guess that's a good thing."
  "Guess? It is."
"You have to tell her when you get home."
"If I get away with this I will tell her anything."
