| She threw her trash from her dinner into the garbage, then made her way to the living room. She picked up a book and settled into the couch, she had been reading for only ten minutes when her phone rang. "Hello?" "Hey Sis, what you doing?" "Reading." "You going to watch your man on TV?" "Well I wasn't going to. He can tell me what happened." "You aren't a good girlfriend." He teased, pulling Lucy onto his lap. "Ok, ok what channel is it?" He told her and she turned on the television. "Happy?" "Yeah I let you go now. I love you." "Love you too." "Bye." "Bye bye." She turned her attention to the TV, where they were doing a red carpet preshow. She wasn't paying close attention until she heard Justin's name. She turned to face the TV just as the anouncer stated. ".....and his girlfriend Britney. Justin could you talk to us?" Justin walked over to the camera with a blonde on his arm. "You have six nominations tonight, any awards you want to win?" "All of them." He joked. "I'm not sure. I wouldn't mind walking away without any awards. It was an honor just to be nominated." The announcer turned his attention to Britney. "You have a few nominations also. You and Justin are up agianst each other in one category. Does this cause tension in your relationship?" "No, we are just happy to be nominated and proud of eachother." She smiled up at Justin. "Sometimes we play rock paper scissors, to see who will win." Justin added, as Tiffany clicked the television off, irrate. Upset at the fact Justin would think it was fine to have a girlfried behind her back, she went upstairs and packed a bag, writing him a note as she packed. Once she was packed she got into her car and drove to the nicest hotel in the city. "Hello." "Hello, I need a room." "You have a reservation?" "No I do not." "Let's see what we can do. How long will you need the room?" "Uuummm two nights." "Ok, cash or credit?" "Cash." "Smoking?" "Yes please." She had bought a pack on the way over, despite her own warnings of becoming a smoker again if she continued to buy cigarettes when she was stressed. "Ok room 142." She handed her the key. "The bill doesn't need to be paid until you leave." "Thank you. Could you hold all calls and guests, please?" "Will do. Have a nice night." She went to the elevator and to her room. Once she got into the room she turned the television on, wanting to know if he won any of the awards.. He won three of the six nominations. He thanked Britney in every speach. His inspiration, in his words. She needed sweets, something to make her feel better. She ordered Chocalote Chip Cookie Dough Icecream from room service. When the man came she gave him a twenty as a tip. He gave her a big smile and left her alone. Alone, agian. She ate her icecream in silence and went to sleep. Hopefully she would wake up refreshed. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- His legs bounced in anticipation as he counted down the minutes until he could hold her again, as the limo driver eyed him in the rear view mirror. "Excited to be home?" "Yeah." He watched as the houses past, sure he would have a heart attack before he got to the house. Finally the limo driver pulled into her driveway and Justin tipped him as he got out. He walked to the door and unlocked it with his key. "Tiffany? I'm home." He called for her and when there was no answer he explored the downstairs. Not finding her, he hoped that she was getting some rest. He ran up the stairs and into the bedroom to find nothing. He picked up a piece of paper off the bed. Justin, Maybe you should have gone home with your other girlfriend. I'm not here, obviously. You have until tomorrow morning to pack your bags. Take everything, anything you leave behind I will give to goodwill. Sorry, that was mean. I guess you have me a little upset. I still want you gone when I get home. You have betrayed my trust and you will never regain it. I won't tell anyone about us, don't worry. I realized tonight who your "public" girlfriend was. I would not want any of your fans to know you are a two timer. Well you have a lot of packing to do so I will go now. Good-Bye, Tiffany Right above the word goodbye was love, but it had been marked out. He fell onto the bed and let the tears fall. His mind wondered over the possibility of waiting for her until the next morning. Deciding the next morning was too far away, he stood and jogged down the stairs. He walked to her garage and noticed she had taken the silver BMW. Although it was an average car, it wouldn't be hard to spot. It had a custom sticker in the back window that said Taffy's Toy in bright blue. He hopped into his car and drove by her brothers house. Her car wasn't there. He drove by every hotel in the city until he found her car. He parked and walked up to the front desk. "What room is Tiffany in?" "Last name please." "Rocio." "She has asked for no visitors, sorry." "I have to see her." The lady looked up at him for the first time and instantly recognized him. "Ok, she is in room 142 but you didn't hear that from me." He thanked her over and over then walked to the elevator and waited until it came. It seemed to be taking hours. Finally the doors slid open and he hopped inside. He pushed the button for the desired floor and the elevator took off. He got off the elevator and began roaming the halls. Finally finding her room, he stood to the side as he knocked, not wanting her to look though the peep hole and decide not to answer. As he waited for her to answer his palms got sweaty. Suddenly the door began to open. |
