He was enjoying the warmth of the shower, as well as the peace. He loved Colton but every now and then he needed a break. He was thinking about the kiss, he wished it had happened. She looked so cute with her eyes closed waiting for his touch. Maybe she did know who he was, maybe she was covering it well. He needed to know, but he didn't know how to find out for sure, unless he was to tell her. But he didn't want her to feel obligated to like him. His mind was fighting itself. To tell or not to tell. THAT was the question, of the moment at least. He dryed himself quickly and threw on the clothes. He checked himself out in the mirror. Her brother had good taste, he hoped to meet him someday. He hit himself in the head as he thought of his mistake. Years of popularity had taught him to be skeptical of girls real intentions. He walked downstairs and almost fainted. SHE COOKED!! It made him stop in his tracks. It may have just been tomato soup and grill cheese sandwiches, but she knew how to use a stove.
"Long shower?" She tried to pull him out of his trance.
  "uumm yeah."
  "Lunch?"
  "Me say no, no way."
"I made you two sandwiches, if that's too much don't worry."
"No that's fine." They ate in silence, each thinking of the kiss and the reasons not to try it agian. Colton was eating happily, he liked having his two favorite people in the same room. He just hoped they would cooperate with his scheme to get them together.
"What are we doing today?" Colton asked trying to start a conversation.
"What do you want to do lil partner?" Only listening half way for his answer, Justin dipped his spoon into his soup.
"I want to go to daycare." He wanted to leave them alone.
"Are you sure?" Tiffany shocked at his answer, lifted her head, certain she had heard wrong.
"I want to go see all my friends." He answered, bright eyed.
"Well if that's what you want, lil partner, you got it." Justin was in shock, her daycare must have been nice. He watched Colton get up from the table, then walk toward the dance studio, then walk back out with his shoes in hand.
"So what will you be doing today?" Tiffany lifted the dishes from the table and set them in the sink.
  "Uuumm no idea, you?"
"I think I am going to work out, I have a huge workout room, you can join me if you want."
"I think I will. Colton you ready to go?"
  "Yeah." Colton nodded his head.
"I'll be back in about half an hour." Justin scooped Colton into his arms, then started for the door.
"Ms. Tiffany ride with us?" Colton pleaded holding his arms out to her.
"Ok let me get my shoes."
"YEAH!!" Colton approved of her answer.
"Ok in the car lil partner." Justin ordered, holding the door open.
"Ok." He replied while Tiffany reached back from the front seat to fasten his seat belt. Justin got into the drivers seat, and Tiffany admired his taste quietly while he pulled out of the driveway.
"You like?" Justin knew the answer.
  "Yes it's very nice."
"When is the next time your brother will be in town? I'd like to meet the man who owns the clothes I'm wearing." He was only half joking, he was very intriqued by her and felt meeting her brother might bring him one step closer to fully understanding her.
"He should come in about a month. He usually comes every three months to check up on me and throw parties."
"I like your brother." Colton put his feet onto the console from his place in the back seat.
  "You've met him?"
"Yeah he was at Ms. Tiffany's house. He was funny. He played with me all day."
"Yeah he loves kids, too. Especially cute lil boys like Colton." Tiffany looked back at Colton, then was rewarded with a smile.
"Well then he must be a good guy, if Colton likes him."
"You wouldn't take my word for it." She turned to him, putting a hand on one of Colton's feet.
"I would if you weren't a partial judge." She lightly hit his arm in retaliation, and Colton liked the way they both were smiling. Justin pulled the car into the daycare parking lot and they got out of the car in silence. They entered the building heading straight for Ms. Ingrid's room.
"Good afternoon, Ms. Ingrid, Colton has decided to join you today." Tiffany said in a playful manner.
"Why hello, Ms. Tiffany. Where'd you find Colton?" She replied.
"Hanging out with me." Justin answered rounding the corner.
"Why hello, Ms. Tiffany could I see you for a moment. I had a little problem this morning."
"Of course." She followed her to a corner of the room, holding up her hand to tell Justin just a minute.
"So what are you two doing together?" She jokingly asked.
"We fell asleep watching movies at my place."
"Ooohh really?" She raised her eyebrows for effect.
"Yes it's all innocent." She defended, careful to keep her voice just above a whisper
  "Ok, ok I believe you."
  "Well I better get going."
  "What are you doing today?"
  "Working out."
"Is the cute young gentleman joining you?" She teased.
"Yes but just to work out." She scolded.
  "Ok, ok see you tomorrow."
"Bye bye, we'll be back to get Colton later."
"We?" Tiffany walked back over to Justin where he was patiently waiting at the door.
"Mind if we stop by my office?" She asked already walking toward her office.
  "Of course not."
  "Good morning Lucy, any messages?"
  "Just Julie's mother."
"Ok I'll call her back." Lucy gave her a thumbs up when Justin wasn't looking. Tiffany led him into the office.
"Want a drink?" She asked walking over to her refrigerater.
  "Sure."
  "Sunkist okay?"
"Yeah." She handed him the drink and took a sip of her own.
"I have a call to make. It'll just take a minute."
"That's fine. I'll wait." She picked up the phone and dialed the number.
"Hello, this is Tiffany, yes good, ok ok she said it was, I am so sorry, Mrs. Reed, I'm glad you caught it though, it's okay, no no offense, you were just worried, I understand, okay, thank you for keeping me informed, yes, bye bye." She hung up the phone and sighed with relief. It was her father, not Ms. Jamie. She looked at Justin. "Ready to go?"
