Chapter Twenty Two
"Having fun yet?" Justin pulled her to him, grinding against her to the rythm of the music.
"Of course, you?" She tried to keep up with him, while he grinded and moved along the floor.
"Yeah, there aren't many girls here tonight." He called into her ear, pulling her with him toward the bar, dancing all the way.
"I would think you would want girls here." She was relieved when Justin stopped dancing and took a seat in a barstool. She had been dancing for nearly two hours, and was long overdue for a break.
"Well, yeah, but usually they are all grabbing at me and when we dance, ugh." He turned to the bartender and quickly ordered them each a drink, something Brianne had never heard before. He turned back to her drinks in hand, then gulped his down, expecting her to do the same. She quickly tilted her head back and let the liquid slide down her throat.
"Now what?" She turned to him and immediately knew she would be returning to the dance floor with him.
"Come on." Justin pulled her back to the floor, dancing with her for a few more moments until a slow song came on.
"Thank the Lord." She slid her head onto his shoulder, letting him rock her gently to the music.
"Ready for a slow dance?" Justin chuckled into her hair, guiding her toward the center of the floor.
"Of course, I don't know how you do it every night on tour."
  "You'll get used to it."
"Oh yeah, I get to go on tour." She bounced a little as the thought came back to her, Johnny had informed her that morning.
"We know, that's all we heard about today." Justin felt like bouncing with her, but instead chose to tease her.
"I'm just so happy, I would have missed you guys so much." She squeezed him a little tighter, then relaxed her grip to lean back and look at him. "I got the revision for that story, it's great, just the way I wanted it."
"Did you really, that's great." Justin's lips met her forehead briefly, then he pulled back for more information.
"Yeah, I have the story at my office, I will show it to you Monday."
"Well, looks like I am about to lose you." Justin nodded toward JC, who was rapidly making his way towards them, a very determined look on his face.
"I'm sure we'll dance again, have fun. And don't overdo yourself." She turned to JC's waiting arms and watched as Justin was quickly bombarded by dance offers.
"I finally got you to myself." JC danced her to a corner of the floor, holding onto her for dear life.
"Did you have fun?" She refered to countless women he had danced with, for fear they would get upset if he didn't.
  "Yeah, I just missed you."
"You're too sweet." She laid her head on his shoulder, not concerned they were dancing slowly to a rather upbeat song.
"How about a drink?" JC pulled slightly away from her a few minutes later, realizing they were getting odd looks for dancing slowly.
"Sure, then can we sit for a minute?" She was already leading him to the bar, ready to obtain the drink and most importantly a seat.
  "What'll you have?"
"A Cosmopalotian." He recieved their drinks then took her to a seat off to the side.
"Are you ready to leave?" He looked over her tired features, certain she wasn't used to being out all night partying.
"No, I want to make sure Justin makes it home safely." She stifled a yawn, then groaned when she noticed Joey making his way toward them. Another dance, no doubt.
"Hey beautiful, your body is like a temple." Joey took her hand in his, playfully trying to tempt her into a dance.
"Sorry, there are no services today." She turned her attention back to JC, watching Joey out of the corner of her eye.
"Is that a keg in your pants, cause I'd really like to tap that ass." Joey slid closer to her, pulling her hand to his heart.
"JOEY FATONE!" She yelped then hopped from her chair astonished. "Let's dance before I have to hear another one of those cheesy things." She was dragged to the dance floor, giving JC an apologetic look until she could no longer see him.
"Is that Joey she just walked off with?" Justin slid into what had once been Brianne's chair, then turned to JC for an answer.
"Yeah, he used some cheesy pick up line." JC chuckled at the memory, taking another sip of his drink.
"Is that all it takes?" Justin disappeared into the sea of people, searching for Brianne, he had to get in on this. JC followed, he had to see this.
"Hey bubba." She greeted him when he stopped in front of her, JC a few steps behind.
"No wonder the sky is grey today, all the blue's in your eyes." Justin gave a charming smile and JC looked on as she quickly went from Joey's arms to Justin's. But not for long, Joey quickly turned her back to him.
"You're father must have been a thief, he stole the stars and put them in your eyes." She blushed slightly at his comment and Joey thought he had won. JC was tired of watching he wanted to join in the fun.
"Do you have a map?" He kept his face as straight as possible and she looked bewildered for a moment.
  "Why?"
"I'm getting lost in your eyes." JC quickly pulled her hand to his lips, then turned to Joey and Justin for the next contender.
"Is your Dad a terrorist, cause baby your da bomb!" Justin took a step closer to her, pushing JC out of the way.
"OK, guys, enough, I'm going to be rolling on the floor laughing if you don't stop and I won't be able to dance with any of you." She giggled into her hand, pulling JC to her by his shirt and ignoring the other two's disappointed faces.
"I won!" He called back to the others, pulling Brianne as close as possible.
"Babe, you're just lucky you had the best line." She crinkled her nose against his shoulder, resisting the urge to nip at his neck.
"No you're lucky I had the best line." He teased, pulling her slightly closer if at all possible.
"Actually, I liked Justin's the most, the sky one." She swayed with him to the music, hoping he wouldn't be offended.
"I liked that one, too. Wonder where he got it."
