"Angel.." I'm sorry, say it.
"What?" He saw the anger in her eyes.
I'm not crawling back to her agian. She won't even stay now, I got her mad.

"Have a good trip."
"As long as I know I will never see you agian, I will." She turned on her heel and walked out the door. She was sure she could get a cab easily. There had to be plenty of people coming in a cab. She was right, she wasn't even waiting for more than a few minutes. She opened the cab door and crawled into the back seat.
  "Where to?"
"The Marriot." She sat silently for a few minutes. She was about to cry. She could feel the tears trying to escape the corners of her eyes.
  "You okay?" The cabbie asked.
  "Yeah." She said meekly.
  "Couldn't get tickets?"
  "No, not that."
  "You work there?"
"Uumm no, I had a fight....with a friend....I left the concert." She didn't want to try to explain about her Justin,
  "A guy friend?"
"Yeah." He pulled to the curb outside the hotel. "Could you wait about ten minutes?" She handed him twenty dollars when he agreed. "I will be right back." She walked into the hotel and to her room. She grabbed all of her stuff in a hurry. She quickly looked over the room one last time at the door. She hadn't left anything. She struggled to carry all of her things to the cab. As soon as the cabbie saw her he got out and helped her put it into the trunk. "Thanks." She got back into the back seat.
  "Where to now?"
"Uuumm is there a Ramada in this town?"
  "Yeah two."
"The closest one to the airport please."
"Can do." He put the car in gear and pulled away from the curb. "Where are you from?"
  "Orlando."
"You came all the way here for a concert?"
"No, not for a concert. I was here on vacation."
  "Oh, with the guy friend?"
"Yeah. But I will be leaving soon."
  "That bad?"
  "Yeah, and the last straw."
  "Poor him."
  "What do you mean?"
"I mean you seem like a very nice girl. And you don't look bad either."
  "Thanks." She blushed.
"And modest." He joked. He pulled into the Ramada. "I hope you feel better." He pulled her suitcases out of the trunk. "You need any more help with these?" She shook her head no.
"How much do I owe you?"
"Nothing, I owe you, you gave me twenty, it was only ten fifteen."
"You keep it. Thanks for you help, and conversation." He tilted his head at her and walked back to the driver's side of the cab.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
She looked around. It was a nice room. She threw all of her bags in one corner of the room and hopped on the bed. She got a flight for the day after the next. She watched a little TV and ordered a movie. She kept thinking of Justin. She hoped he would find her and come apologize. The concert had to be over by now. She hadn't even told the lady at the desk to keep her room number secret. She paced the room a couple of times then decided to sleep.
--------------------------------------------------Two Days Later-----------------------------------------------------------
She stood in line to board the plane. She stood at the end in hopes Justin would show up. Eventually she was next in line. She looked around the airport one last time in hopes he would be there. She didn't see him, she walked down the terminal and took her seat on the plane. She gripped the handles. She hated take off.
-------------------------------------------------Later that Day---------------------------------------------------------------
"Justin, if I tell you something you promise not to get irrational?" JC said solemly.
"Yeah, sure." He was in his make up chair. No one was in sight but he was lying back in his chair staring off into space.
"I just saw the news," He paused.
"Wow, you are buffing up on current events."
"No, a plane headed to Orlando from Seattle crashed. Engine failure."
"What? Are you sure?" He stood up and paced the room. "What do I do? I mean how do I know if she was on it?"
"I dunno, J. How about you call her?"
"Yeah good idea." He pulled out his cell phone and dialed her cell number. He looked lost as he hung up.
  "No answer?"
"No, no fucking answer. What do I do now?"
"I dunno, J. Can you call the airport?" Justin's eyes lit up. He dialed assistance and hung up a few minutes later.
"She was no help. She said Tiffany's name wasn't on the list, but if she bought her plane ticket at the last minute she probably hadn't made it on any list."
"Did you ask her to check the other lists?"
"Yeah, she's not on any of them." He ran his hands across his head. "What the fuck do I do?"
  "Would her brother know?"
"No, I doubt it. He's like a father, she wouldn't want him to worry about her. He didn't even know about me and Brit." Tears starting making moist trails along his cheeks. "Look what I did. She'd be safe, here with me. I am such and idiot."
"Don't do this to yourself, J. She could be safe and just too busy to answer her cell phone. Try it agian."
