"Hey, thanks for meeting me." She hugged Johnny as he carefully situated his hands, not to touch her wound.
"No problem, sweetie. How was your flight?"
"Fine, how are the guys?" She wanted to ask what was wrong with Justin, but was sure it wouldn't be appropriate.
"They are fine, they miss you a lot. Their new stylist doesn't get them. I hear about it all day." He chuckled as he led her into the parking garage.
"Johnny, can I ask you a personal question?"
  "Sure, honey, go ahead."
"Why is Justin mad at me? Do you know?" She sat down in the passanger side of Johnny's car, then waited for him to shut her door, and get into his side of the car.
"I'm afraid I can't answer that, you'll have to talk to Justin about that."
"So he is mad at me?" She pulled her seatbelt over herself, and buckled it.
"I'm afraid so." He set a hand on her knee to comfort her. They rode in silence as Jaden tried to discover why Justin could possibly mad at her. When they arrived at the buses, Johnny dropped her off infront of her bus, then promised to see her after his meeting. Jaden had been informed that the men's new stylist had been riding on another bus and would until she had her things removed. To wait for the guys, she busied herself with catching her diary up on all the things that had happened to her. Halfway through all the men but Justin came in, bending down to kiss her cheek.
  "Where's Justin?"
"Busy." JC turned away as he delivered the news, so she wouldn't know he was lying.
"Why is he mad at me?" She asked Lance, the only man she could get eye contact with.
"You'll have to ask him." Lance put his hands on her shoulders, lightly rubbing them.
"Well, where is he so I can?" The men gave worried glances to one another, so she added. "He doesn't want you to tell me? Fine, you just tell him I would really like to see him before I leave. He doesn't have a week to come to his senses this time. I leave soon."
"Jaden, we know that, and you do, but Justin, he's stubborn." Chris told her, as if she hadn't realized it already.
"Well, do you have a show tonight?" She tried to change the subject, and the men let her.
"Yeah, will you be in the VIP box, it's on the side of the stage, you'll be really close to us." Joey inticed, and she thought it would be good idea to get a night of entertainment.
"I'll be there and you know it." She winked at the men.
"Well, we better get inside, you want me to walk you to the box?" JC offered, holding his arm out for her.
"Yeah, but you guys go ahead, I walk rather slow." She ordered the other three, then stepped out of the trailer with JC.
  "So how do you feel?"
  "Good."
"I saw your interview the other day, we were lucky to meet you, too."
"You saw that? I didn't really mean that, but I didn't want everyone to know ya'll were stinky." She wrinkled her nose for effect as JC opened the venue door.
"Well, I didn't want to tell you we think you're too short."
"Ohh low blow." She elbowed him gently.
"It had to be low or you wouldn't have gotten it shorty." She giggled then stopped when she heard Justin's voice. Knowing it wasn't a good time to confront him, she continued with JC.
"Look, just cause you are the Jolly Green Giant, doesn't mean I am short."
"Girl, you watch it or I will abondon you."
"You wouldn't, you love me too much." She winked at him, second guessing her decision to let Justin alone.
"Here you are, I gotta get ready." He kissed her cheek then left her to get ready for the show.
"Good luck!" She called after him, then entered the room, taking a seat next to Johnny. From experience she knew he wouldn't be talkative so let him alone. She wanted to enjoy the show, it would be the last she would be able to see, at least for a while. The guys would run by every once in a while to wave and wink at her. All except Justin, he kept his distance, purposely avoiding the side of the stage she was seated on. When JC licked the stage, which didn't surprise her at all, he looked over and winked at her. Blush formed in her cheeks as the men ran past her to go backstage for a costume change.
"Justin, this is her last night here, if you want to talk to her you should." Chris adviced, then moved away from Justin before he had a chance to respond. Maybe he should have talked to her before the show, but he couldn't change the past now.
Jaden waited for the men to come out for the last time, growing slightly tired. She debated going back to her bus, but in the end wanted to stay and watch the end of the show. The men ended the show with a beautiful song, and Jaden kissed Johnny on the cheek and stood to leave. Making her way back to her trailer for the last time, she wandered how a little over a two weeks could feel like such a long time. She had gone through so much, and she really was going to miss the guys. Ecspecially Justin, he was very stubborn, but she enjoyed knowing that at least for a while he had thought she was important enough to apologize to. She walked around a corner bumping right into a startled Justin.
"I'm sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going." She smiled up at him, then made her way around him. Leaving him without giving him a chance to say a word that would make her remember him as anything but a wonderful person. He watched in amazement as the woman who had been through so much with him walked out of the arena. After a little pain climbing the steps, she made her way into the place that had become her home. When she was done looking around one last time, she settled infront of her computer to finish her diary entry from before. Just as she was shutting down her computer Justin walked into her room, causing her to stand in anticipation.
"Hey, I just wanted to see how you were." He ran a hand through his hair, fearful she would let him have the rejection he deserved.
"I'm fine thank you." Quickly she put the disc that contained her diary where it belonged, then turned off her monitor and speakers.
"Could I have a minute of your time?"
"Yeah, let me change into my night clothes." She disappeared, growing quite tired of all the drama that went along with this man. "You can come in." She called to him, and he obliged, to find her already laying in bed.
"Can I see your stitches?" Justin had heard the other men talking about them, and was scared to see how badly she was hurt but even a little curious.
"Yeah, they're unwrapped, just lift my shirt." He pulled it up, immediately replacing her shirt, knowing that seeing anymore may cause him to leave.
"Jaden, I owe you so many apologies, and I would understand if you didn't want to accept them. But I have to tell you how sorry I am. I heard you talking with Johnny and was upset when you turned down his offer for you to stay on the tour. But I understand why you did it. I just hope you understand why I acted the way I did."
