| "Hey, thank you." Jaden looked up at Justin, as he slipped his hand over hers. "Hey, I'm sorry about earlier." "No don't be, I probably would have done the same thing." She lightly squeezed his hand, watching the tears start to form in his eyes. "How's your back?" He laid his head on her hand, so that she wouldn't see the tears that were sure to come. "Numb, how's Johnny?" Jaden lifted her free hand to run through his hair. "Don't know, Joey went looking for him. Did you see your flowers?" Justin pulled the card from the arangement to read to her. "Who are they from?" "Your Dad, it says, Hope you get better soon love, Daddy." Justin looked down at her, trying to read her face. "That was nice of him, is he coming in?" She tried to sound nonchalant, but Justin heard the uncertainty. "I don't know, Johnny didn't say." He squeezed her hand in comfort, hoping she wouldn't get too upset. "Well, what are you going to do?" She smiled as Johnny entered the room, trying to make him feel better. She knew Johnny would be upset, and it was to be expected, she would feel the same if it was him. Justin excused himself, lightly kissing Jaden before going. "Hey kiddo, how you doing?" Johnny sized up her condition before taking a seat where Justin had been. "Good, is my Dad coming in?" "No, don't think so, he's busy." Johnny wracked his brain for something more to say. "But he sent me beautiful flowers, I'll have to call and thank him." "Yeah they are beautiful, so what are you going to do?" "What do you mean?" She crossed her eyebrows, not sure what he meant. "The tour, do you want to stay on?" He begged with his eyes. "Johnny I couldn't do that to you. You'd be without a stylist for weeks, but I will be on the next one." She flashed a mischevious smile. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Justin brushed past the huddled men and wouldn't stop when they called out to him. Finally they all caught up with him at the elevator. "What's wrong, is she okay?" JC stood directly in front of Justin, waiting for an answer. "She's fine, but she's leaving us." "Justin she's hurt, she has to." Joey explained, fearful his friend had lost his mind. "No Johnny asked her if she wanted to stay, she said no." Justin stomped onto the now open elevator, leaving them to exchange odd looks. JC was nominated to stay the night with her, and didn't mind watching over her for the night. After all the men had gone home, he pulled a chair up next to her bed, grateful to get some time alone with her. "How are you feeling?" "Great, guess who sent me flowers." She smiled up at him, obviously excited. "One of those attacking aliens?" He joked. "Ryan Phillippe. He heard how I used his movie to hint to ya'll." "Wow, you are a celebrity." "Look who's talking." She grabbed his hand, before closing her eyes to try to get some rest. He stayed next to her until he was certain she was asleep, then laid on the couch to get some rest of his own. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The men had left three days ago and the hospital room was driving her crazy. Luckily she would be returning to the tour for one last night in less than an hour. The next day some moving men would come to pack up her things. Before she would leave the hospital she would have an interview with a local news woman. At that very moment she was watching the camera man set up as the woman settled herself into the chair next to her. "Good morning Jaden, thank you for seeing us today." She greeted once the camera started rolling. "Good morning, and it's my pleasure." She shook the woman's, who's name had not been mentioned, hand. "Jaden I hear you got some flowers from a very important man, who was it?" "I got flowers from Ryan Phillippe, it was very exciting, I've always had a crush on him." "Sounds exciting, have you seen the tape of your incident?" The lady inquired, obviously knowing Jaden had not. "No I haven't. I didn't know there was one." Jaden was fearful but also intriqued, she couldn't remember what had happened that day. The lady rolled the tape for her showing Justin holding her, crying with her. "Would you like to tell us what your and Justin's relationship is?" How could she tell her when she wasn't sure? "I'm afraid what you are hinting at is not true. If Chris, JC, or any of the other guys had been there instead of Justin the scene would have looked exactly the same. The guys are very lovely people, and I have been lucky enough to get to know them." "I have heard the story of how this happened, but could you tell our audience?" "Of course, the man came into my trailer, planning to kidnap me for ransom from the men. I convinced him that the men would not let me leave the grounds without saying good bye, so we walked over to the men. I hinted to the guys about what was going on. Finally Joey picked up on it and all of them but Justin left. After that my memory is slightly hazy. But I was told the man was hit on the back of the head, and when he fell the knife he was holding ran across my back, causing the wound." "And why was Justin the one to stay?" "To keep us there, had all the guys left, the man could have easily escorted me off the grounds." "Sounds like a well planned out scenario." "I don't think it was, I think I was just lucky the guys were there." "What will you do now?" "As of now my plans are to return home, and join the next tour with the guys." "Well thank you for your time, I know you have a plane to catch so I will let you go." "No thank you." The camera was shut off and the woman turned to her. "I didn't want to ask you while the camera was running, but could we possibly see the wound?" "No, I'm afraid it's wrapped right now." She said disgusted by the lengths these people went to. "Thank you anyway, we really appreciate it." She stood, shook Jaden's hand, and exited the room. Jaden spent the rest of her time at the hospital learning to wrap her wound from the doctor. Ten minutes before she left, she changed into an outfit JC had brought her to wear to the airport. Luckily they were low cut jeans, allowing her wound to breath. She made her way to the airport and unto her plane without any problems. Sitting in the plane chair proved to be a bit of a hassle, but after the stewardess brought her a pillow, she was somewhat comfortable. She couldn't wait to land, and see the guys again. Ecspecially Justin, she hadn't seen him since the first morning in the hospital. She couldn't think of any reason for him to be upset with her, and hoped he had simply been busy. |
