| Betsy Williams: Betsy is by far one of the most generous people I know. She not only is a cool friend but also an extremely talented student. Being a straight A student is only the least of her achievements. She is also in many clubs in school, as well as in all the highest classes that are available to her. She is also a talented musician and plays the flute and piano well. Her secret, at least by my view, is her effervescent spirit and her enthusiasm in everything that she tries. Being in Drama with her is so cool, as her interaction with Mindy never fails to lighten the class. I envy her talent and enthusiasm soooo much. She's also really cool because she has many traits that I find are righteous. I have never seen her get truly angry(only in Drama scenes) or even heard her say a single bad word. I have never seen her offend anyone for real nor have ever seen her hold a grudge against someone. She is really nice in this sense. She's also cool because she accepts everyone, even people who aren't as brilliant as her, like me :-( . She is the only one at school who does not think my British fanaticism is too strong(at least she isn't demonstrative about it). She says she admires the spirit of communism and socialism because it is similar to the English government. In government, she hopes to run for president in 2024. She's getting the word out early so she'll attract a lot of voters. She also shares my love of animals. She loves bunnies and plays Neopets often. We often find time to chat through Neomail. I think she is part of the Protestant Church, the church I so dearly adore, well, kinda(Samad told me not to preach, so I took away some praise, no...actually a lot of praise). The Presbyterian Church in which she is a member of started in Scotland. She has been my inspiration as well as a great friend from the moment I met her. | Mindy aka: solarbunny: Mindy is one of the people I respect the most. She is also a nice person. She taught me many things about being a better person, and I thank her for that. Before then, I often belittled myself, thinking myself inferior to others; she taught me that I wasn't. Though now, I only view her as an equal person, not superior. I believe that's better for all of us... Back to Mindy, being a hardworking student, she excels in many things. She has a hardworking ideology which has taken her far. She is also part of the presidency in the Science Club. Being a loyal member to this club, I naturally have loyalty to her (I don't know why, but I've always been loyal to others of a superior rank in a club. Perhaps it's my monarchial ideology). Her philosophy in life is to be happy, though she says if success came along the way, that would be even better. Mindy is also above the Corporate America's grasp, as according to Bolshevik Samad. She doesn't follow popular consumerism and she is quite analytical about that. On one occasion after a swim meet, Samad told me she was vegetarian (Samad doesn't believe I am though, because of my fanaticism with England; he doesn't believe people like that could ever be vegetarians.... That has nothing to do with this profile, but I just wanted to add that in). This point may seem insignificant in determining her personality, but Samad claims that it shows her concern about health and the manipulations of Corporate America to mass produce food at faster and cheaper rates, at the expense of quality and health. Actually, she says her vegetarianism is incredibly important to her personality because it shows her concern for the welfare of every single living thing. Thus she doesn't eat animals because they have to suffer and die just for a meal(good point!). This concern, she says is her true motivation for vegetarianism. Mindy is extremely smart and talented. Yet she is still able to maintain her fun side. She participates in many clubs and often maintains an energetic spirit that is used to excel in everything she strides to do. She is also on the swim team, a team that has gained my utmost respect because many of my friends are in it. | Andrew Donahue aka: Elf: Andrew is a really cool person. He's Irish and very proud of his heritage. Though we often argue about the governments of the world and which is the best, he is not quite as Bolshevikian as Samad. But who can blame him for loving Ireland more. England, though much loved by me, have long suppressed many cultures. In fact, during one imperialistic battle, the British troops beheaded dead Irish soldiers because they thought that they were subhuman. He is an aspiring future astrophysist in my mind. Though he admits that he does not do very well in math at school, no one can doubt that he is one gosh darn brilliant physist. One reason is because he loves what he does. When he loves what he is learning, he learns. His hero is the British astrophysist Dr. Stephen Hawking. I think he is one of the most brilliant people who's ever lived, though he is not quite as revolutionary in thought as Einstein was. So people can argue who was really smarter. Another thing he loves is penguins. He loves the Linux penguin, Tux. I think he's pretty cute too, Tux that is. Quote: Owned |
