A. Documentation of the Development Process -
The purpose for this website is to help promote Uncle Tony's Clothing Surplus store and also raise awareness about the homeless issues going on in the world. You can easily at a click of the mouse donate a pair of socks to the homeless. For every click, Uncle Tony will give a pair of socks to homeless shelters. For this website I first started by drawing up a flow chart of how I thought pages would come together. I then started with the content behind each page and I finally worked on formatting each page.

B. Defense of the Final Product -
For my design scheme, I tried to keep the colors similar to a military theme. I felt that most surplus stores tend to be or have a heavy military presence. One tiny piece that I felt would add a lot to this page, was the scrolling marquee. I wanted to make sure that everyone would know the number of socks donated and to have this feature be interactive. Hard coding values can be easy but having it more interactive would be a better use case. For my font family, I decided to go with Comic Sans MS. I feel like this is the most realistic when it comes to someone's hand writing and this would make it easy for anyone to read.

C. Opportunities for Improvement and Growth -
There are a couple of things that I would have liked to add if we had additional time to complete the website. I would possible think about adding an online shopping feature. This would allow the surplus store to reach additional customers and would allow it to expand out of a brick and mortar store. I think I would have also expanded on additional information around the problems in this country that have caused people to become homeless. Adding some additional statistics may lend people to gain a complete picture of why it's such a problem and how many individuals cannot avoid it.
