Wednesday, May 4, 2005 - News reports that a computer malfunction at the FBI headquarters enabled Jeremy Jones to walk out of jail a total of two times in Georgia. Because of this malfunction, Jones went on to murder four more ladies, one of those being Patrice. Relatives of Patrice Endres are furious at how this was able to happen. The search has been called off for Patrice. She remains lost in the river.
Friday, April 15, 2005 - Patrice is missing for a year. Although her fate is now known, authorities have been unable to locate Patrice in the river in which she was disposed in by suspected serial killer Jeremy Jones. The other families of Jeremy Jones' victims support Patrice's husband Rob.
Friday, March 11, 2005 - There have been some minor set backs in the search for Patrice. Searchers have been scouring the river banks of Sweet Water Creek in Douglasville, GA, where suspected serial killer Jeremy Jones gave an indication he dumped the remains of Patrice, the same afternoon she was abducted in April of 2004.

Authorities are being faced with the daunting task of trying to search in the high levels of water and strong currents. The search has been temporarily stopped until the water levels can return to normal flow. The exact time frame of when the search will resume is not known at this time.

Meanwhile the eyewitness who gave police false statements regarding the suspect sketch has been released from jail on bond. These two developments do not give much comfort the family of Patrice Endres. Family and friends continue to wait for answers in the almost year long disappearance mystery of Patrice Endres.
Wednesday, March 9, 2005 - There has been a major break in the disappearance of Patrice. Forsyth County Police have named suspected serial killer Jeremy Jones as a prime suspect in the disappearance of Patrice. At this time no charges have filed against Jones for Patrice's disappearance or possible murder, however an area that Jones has given as a possible location of Patrice has been searched by cadaver dogs and they alerted on the area.
At this time, a search is under way for Patrice.
In another startling turn of events, the person who helped police compile a composite sketch of the person she saw near the salon around the time of Patrice's disappearance has been arrested. Reports are coming out that the information she provided to police was false. Should there be any new updates to this case, they will be posted immediately.
