December 14, 2005 - GBI officials say that Jeremy Jones most likely is NOT the person who abducted and murdered Patrice Endres. Jeremy Jones told AJC late last week that he made the story up about Patrice's disappearance and murder. The location of Patrice's remains were almost 65 miles from where Jones told authorities he disposed of her. This leaves many unanswered questions about Jones' confession.
GBI says that 90% of Patrice's remains were found last week behind the church and a forensic anthropologist is now working to determine how Patrice died. A positive identification was made last week by Patrice's dental records.  The initial reward for Patrice's disappearance, has now changed to go towards information leading to the arrest of the person or person's who are responsible for Patrice's death.
