Greetings fellow James fans,
The start of 1999 marks the end of an amazing year for James and for One Fan Clapping alike, and, hopefully, the start of an ascent into superstardom for our favorite popsters. We'd like to thank everyone who came out to both James Nights and say hi to everyone we met at the various shows. For those of you who missed out on the live James experience over the last 6 months, you missed out on some of the best live shows in years. The boys debuted no less than 8 new songs all tentatively titled as follows:
Vervacious
I Know What I'm Here For
Fred Astaire/Millionaire
I Defeat
Surprise
Confusion
Real World Jam
If Anybody Hurts You
The new material is
immediately catchy and very ecclectic and suggests the makings of
an absolutely brilliant new album, hopefully slated for release
in early spring to be followed by a UK tour of venues somewhat
smaller than the arenas James played in December.
We've had a ton of new visitors to the page over the last month
or so, following the success of that horrible remix of "Sit
Down" that we still can't believe they had the audacity to
release, and since the tour. We'd like to welcome all the new
faces, and to invite you to contribute your own James experiences
to the page. We are, as ever, desperate for submissions, and
excited to hear everything you have to say.
Unfortunately, we couldn't get any decent photos from the tour, but there are pictures from James Night which should be available on the J.I.M. website, which we highly recommend checking out. We've added a new section where Justhipper answers your questions, and have made various updates, including our own version of James' history. We hope to have more exciting stuff to share in the future.
Happy new year to everyone, and hopefully happy listening sometime in the near future!
