Big South Fork National River

The Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area is located in Southern Kentucky and Northern Tennessee. It is ran my the National Park Service. This was my latest trip I did back in May, which I took my little brother along with me. This was a two day, one night trip. This loop begins at the Bandy Creek Campground and is composed of three different trail systems, the John Litton Farm Loop, Fall Branch Trail, and the Grand Gap Loop Trail. I will link the trail map here. and include a few picutes from the trip below. This is a beautiful area, and if you have the opprotunity, definitely check it out!

Red River Gorge

Welcome to the Gorge! Red River Gorge is located within the Daniel Boone National forest in the state of Kentucky. This area is designated as a National Geological Area, and rightfully so. With the largest concentration of natural rock arches east of the Rocky Mountains. This majestic place is my go to stomping grounds, as it is only 2 hours away from me. I have taken many trips here, and it never gets old. The trail map is linked here.
