The Grand Theft. . Roaches new 7c+: The big undercut boulder just past the 6a arete on the upper tier boulders has has a lot of attention recently due to a brilliant project known as ski sunday.It was Dave Aulcot's project but has been snached while he is nursing a bust toe.It Starts on the far L of the boulder and makes a desperate traverse rightwards across the lip to finish up the obvious last hold/flake.)(See guides).Its called The grand theft 7c+ *** ..No repeats as yet but im sure it will not be long. .Watch this space. . Judge dread : first clean acsent: Mark Sharrat has done the first real clean acsent of judge dread (Nth cloud) and gave it the grade of E7 6b without the pre placement of gear.It is a very bold lead but a hard to place hb in the mid crux made sharrat decide to solo it! ! It has waited nearly 15 years for the clean lead allthough it has had repeats from Dawes and Nadin they still decided to pre place the gear. Tom briggs action at ramshaw: The big dyno R of nadins rollercoaster has finally been done by tom.It climbs the front face via 6a moves to gear(friends)and then a mega dyno with good fall potential!Its grade is E7 6c/7a ** |
