Epilogue

It's feels like so long since I last saw him I miss him so damn much. No one can possibly understand this loneliness, this pain

The phone jangled suddenly, jerking Lance out of his thoughts. "Britney! Hi!" he greeted, as his best girl friend answered the phone.

"Lance! I just wanted to remind you about next week."

Her voice trailed off and Lance winced, knowing what was coming. "It's HIS death anniversary, I remember."

"Okay, I'll let you go now. Cheer up, Lance. Remember we all love you."

What's the use when Josh isn't here? Lance wondered, but outwardly he smiled and said, "Yeah. Love you too."

A soft sigh was uttered as the receiver was placed back in its cradle. A thumb ran over a picture of the couple, smiling contentedly together. "Chris it's our five year anniversary and I'm missing him so DAMN much. It's not fair it's so unfair" Lance sobbed out as the older man held him tightly.

"I know you miss him, kid," Chris said gently, trying to soothe the young blond. "I know you do."

"I know I'm being a selfish bastard, but I can't help it. I love him, Chris. I want him here with me."

Chris lay his cheek on the blond spikes as he wrapped his arms tightly around the young man. "The pain will pass, Lance."

"When, Chris?"

Chris shook his head. Even he didn't know the answer to that question.

"Hello?" Lance whispered groggily into the phone, which had woken him up from a two hour nap.

"Open the door."

The phone clicked and went dead.

Muttering angrily to himself, Lance went to get the door, knowing that the doorbell was spoilt and the poor soul who was at the door had probably been stranded there for over five minutes pressing it.

His green eyes widened with surprise as he saw the brunette standing at the door. "It's YOU!" he gasped. "But how?"

"Do you think I'd let this day pass without a fight? Knowing how much you're hurting, you think I'd let this chance go?"

Lance was frozen with shock. He might have been expecting green pigs flying, the world coming to an end, but nothing NOTHING in his wildest dreams could compare to this.

"Oh my god!" Lance cried as the other man pulled him roughly into a tight, warm embrace. "JOSH! Oh god! I've missed you so much! They they let you come back from the music conference early!"

JC nodded and smiled down at his beautiful angel. "Yeah yeah, they did. I bitched about it so much they didn't exactly have a choice. Besides, I know Joey's death anniversary is in a week And I can't exactly let you go through that alone, can I? 'Specially since I killed him."

Lance let out a sound that was somewhere between a choked sob and a surge of laughter before looking at his boyfriend of five years straight in the eye. "Don't." Sob. "You." Punch. "DARE." Sniffle. "To." Hit. "EVER." Tears. "Leave." Strike. "Me." Wail. "Alone." Bash. "In." Snuffle. "Orlando." Embrace. "On." Kiss. "Our." Kiss. "Anniversary." Kiss. "Again." Kiss. "Got that?"

JC smiled amusedly at Lance, "Got it," before kissing the blond softly on the lips again. "It won't happen again I'm all yours."

"All mine," Lance repeated.

"Dangerously so," JC nodded, before their lips met once more.

End.
