In my humble opinion, I don't believe 9-11 is the most devastating act to ever befall our country. Sure, it seems to be a huge tragedy now but that's only because we had been living in peace for so long. I mean, look at the Civil War - now there was an immeasurable ammount of killing and bloodshed. I'm not even going to get into Pearl Harbor...

While we're on the subject of 9-11, I might as well express my views on terriost acts that might take place on the 11^th of some coming year. IT WON'T HAPPEN! How dumb do you think terrorists are? They plan their attacks and span them out and try to be original so they don't give themselves away. Meaning they won't make an attack on 9-11 again (they probably won't even make an attack that involves planes for awhile). I know most Americans are hyped up because it's the anniversary of 9-11, but guys, get real. You don't beef up security because of a date, even if it does make you feel more secure and patriotic, etc. [edit] Unless you're the Bush administration and you want to get re-elected.

Overall, was the attack positive or negative? I think the attack had a positive effect on us. It brought us together and reminded us we aren't invulnerable. And, if anyone was smart enough to buy stock shares when it bombed, you made a profit off of it. Who's thinking, "What an insensitive pig! Thinking of money in a time of crisis!"? Well, sure, I was hurt by the whole thing like most Americans were but it can't stop me from living my life as I normally would.

That's pretty much all I can think of at the moment but this might ^{is now} become my "Views on Events" page. In which case, I would have to turn it into html (Crap...). Remember though, these are my views, meaning no one has to agree with me. Just don't spam me with messages of me being some kind of terrorist for expressing myself...
