It wasn't easy when my pet died,
For days I cried and cried,
Travis the trout was my favorite pet,
"At least you can fry em," said the vet.
I am sorry for the fate Travis met,
But at least he was a tasty pet.
At his funeral I stood by the door,
Then I saw an uninvited guest on the floor,
I had to make a decision because of that cat,
So quickly I decided that,
