| A bat. When I was a kid, I practiced my paintings by drawing animals, no facial expression equals concentrate on body form equals easier to paint. Seems Van Gogh is doing the same to improve here, though there is uncertainty about the actual date of this painting. The light through the wings is cool, though, something I never tried. |
