OUR VISION
In 1991, Dorothy Sandahl and Anita Bahls had a dream to open a bookstore in Hastings. In July that dream came to fruition and Just Thinking opened its doors. The store filled a need and was well received by the community. When it outgrew its space, the store moved to its current location, and in 1994 Dorothy bought out Anita's interest and became sole owner.
Just Thinking's vision is to be a hallmark in the community. They actively promote reading in all general interest areas. Many events are planned to attract and encourage people to read. Special areas of interest include but are not limited to children's, religious and local. They pride themselves on friendly customer service and knowledgable salespeople. It is their mission that everyone, young and old, learn how to read and enjoy reading for learning and for pleasure. To this end Just Thinking has given much to the community of Hastings, Minnesota. |
