| PROMOTIONS: Promotions/ranks are determined by length of stay in the guild or by the Class Tests. Class tests are tests a member takes from thier respective Class Patriarch/Matriarch and/or Leader. These tests not only provides them the rank but also challenges thier class over all playability. These tests are decided and unique to each class by thier leaders. All rank promotions must be inquired first with their Class Leader/Patriarch. Members taking the test must be accompanied by the Leader to observe. For Example: Rogue Test #1 Objective: Kill Durator Warlock Trainer Details: Enter Durator undetected. Locate Warlock Trainer. Slay Warlock Trainer. Dont Die!!! 3 Tries. Reward: 2g and Promotion to Soldier Rank LEADERSHIP TESTS: Patriarch/Matriarch/Stewards are Ranks chosen, tested, and selected by the GM. Class Leaders are determined by a Leadership test conducted by the GM, or officer delegated by the GM. Leadership tests are based on the ability of that Elite Member to lead a random group successfully through an instance/dungeon. Organization, attack patterns, looting rules, and peer to peer communication will be some of the challenges the Elite must address/maintain during the test. A limit of 3 group deaths only. It will be considered a "fail" if the group dies 3 times. If this happens, the current elite will be placed on probation for 2 days--online--that means they will not be able to participate on another leadership test until the end of the two days. This gives the next runner up a chance at the "Class Leader" Position. |
| GUILD RANKS: -Stewards The successor/substitute of the GM. There must always be two stewards in the guild during the GM's absence. If a steward must leave thier position, they must appoint another. Stewards have full privileges of a GM, but shall not take any ruling actions without consulting the GM. -Patriarch/Matriarch The overseers of thier respective class and class leader (e.g., Rogue Patriarch watches over the Rogue Leader and Rogue guild members. They are the primary ruling hand of their class. They are able to create and modify tests, events, or conduct as they see fit with the GM's consent. They are also responsible of the promotion and rewards for thier class. Level 45 Requirement. -Class Leader Head leader and representative of their respective class members toward thier class patriarch or matriarch/GM. Class leaders are tested and chosen by the GM as the role model and ideal representative to compliment the class patriarch/matriarch. Class leaders are privileged to conduct class tests, promotions, recruitment, and events. They also have the power to suggest changes in the guild/class as per consent of thier patriarch/matriarch initially. -Gladiator: (NEW RANK!!!) Gladiators are Special Elite classes that demonstrate and recognizes a members ability in PvP. This rank is determined by the GM and Stewards only. Those interested in attaining this rank must first be an Elite Rank. -Elite: Elites are the Highest ranking members that have completed both their respective class tests and GM's test. A rank that signifies the longevity and commitment toward helping thier fellow members. A rank that is offered only by the GM or steward. Members must be knight rank. Elites expected to provide support (e.g.,equipment) to thier fellow members or class. -Knight: Officer rank earned after completing their final class test from thier respective leaders/patriarch. Knights are privileged to use the "officer chat" by typing "/o" and then spacebar. This feature allows knights to add thier own feedback/suggestions and take a more active role in guild decisions during officer chats. -Soldier: A middle class rank that categorizes the member as an experienced guild member and are either familiar/aquainted with guild conduct and system. A rank earned by passing their intial class test(s). Although soldiers do not have the privilege of knights, they're input in general guild chat are very much considered. -Recruit: A rank that signifies a member's intial involvement and assures thier place in the guild. A rank that can be offered by any class leader's initiation test. Members of this rank are looked upon as potentially new leaders/officers. Members promoted to this rank are familiar with the basics of the guild and its members. -Trainee: Trainees is the default or intitial rank. This rank illustrates and questions a new member's commitment to the guild. Any trainee invited by a GM/leader shows the potential of this member to contributing to the guild. However, It is a rank that can allow leaders/GM to dismiss depending on thier frequency of online, attitude/compatability with the guild members. It is recommended that trainees get acquainted with the guild and guild system to take thier intiation test to "Recruit Rank" if they wish to guarantee their stay in the guild. *The higher your rank...the more attention and priority you will get from the Leaders and GM (e.g.,Gear enchanting and weapon glows are first offered to the higher ranks and works its way down toward the lower ranks). |
