| Basic Loot Rules: (will vary depending on majority decision of the group/raid) All Good (green items) that are Bind on Equip (BoE) can be rolled by all. (if this item is an upgrade for you're current gear, PST the winner and see what you can work out) All Superior and above (blue/purple/red) that are Bind on Pick-up (BOP) must be passed by all members in the group. Next, those who are in NEED of that particular BOP item are able to roll for it. If no one is in NEED of it, then it becomes a GREED roll (meaning all members can roll for it). In the guild however, "sharing is caring." Although it makes good practice, we, in the guild, should be able to identify who needs what etc etc. Basic Group Organization/Strategy/Info: Ok. Now. Before you continue. I like to keep things short and simple like a bikini, so I broke up the members in the group under two categories. Group members will either fall in as DPS or Tankers -DPS (damage per second) characters (e.g., any class that can give off ALOT of damage) -responsible for the damage output of the group -Tankers, I consider, are those who "tank" and all healers. -responsible for holding aggro and maintaining heals and buffs (try to monitor and maintain constant buffs 5 Man Group Formation (this is just a basic set up; depending on the situation, it will vary) - stay within 30 yard* *casters have a max range of 30 yards What is demonstrated above is a basic format. Strategies such as Sapping, sheeping, pulling, etc will require certain classes to move from thier spot. However, once that strategy takes action it is recommended to return to the above formation and assure that the tank grabs the aggro. The trick is to move informly and TOGETHER. For example, obviously if the tank is too far forward the rest of the group should advance keeping a safe distant (the important thing, especially for casters, is to keep everyone in site) Now, just to set things clearly. If the intended plan DOES NOT work, DO NOT start typing comments, rather, keep fighting and try to focus you're attention on trying to protect or assist those who needs to be assisted (use you're best judgement). BTW the "/assist" command works well too. |
