Amateur had an itch
On 3 October 2001 morning,
I woke up and realised that it is already seven years
that I have worked for my
present company.
As I think about this, suddenly
I have the inspiration for a poem in Chinese.
Same as I did for the earlier
Chinese poem, I have translated this poem into English
for the benefit of those who
do not understand Chinese.
Translation :
Seven Years Itch Written on : 3 October 2001
First four years
Then three years
Became a total of seven years working in present company.
Feeling itchy now
Feeling itchy then
This should be the symptom of Seven years itch.
Seeing AMD retrenched staffs
Seeing INTEL retrenched staffs
Come to think of it, I better stop feeling itching.
