As part of the Chinese New Year celebration, several organisations and
associations got together and organised a meaningful event for the Penangites
and tourists to participate in a unique cultural festival. Here are the
snap shots which I have taken of
some of the activities.

Come on, throw to me.....
"Chingay" is the acrobatic balancing of huge, triangular multi-coloured falgs hitched on to 10 metre-long poles. The performers demonstrating their skills in balancing the flag pole with their foreheads, shoulders, lower jaws and also different parts of their bodies. |
