Was itLove or Hate?

Yes....yes Sally moaned as she reached closer to climax. God yes She screamed louder as even with her closed eyes she could clearly see Angels eyes drowned with lust, glaring at her, just before she made the familiar path down her body. Sally grabbed the  head devouring her between her legs as she arched stiffened by the pressure waiting to explode yet in the back of her mind she still remembered walking into their empty home. She clutched with all her might as the final release escaped her, and screamed, God, I am so sorry. She said almost in unison with her orgasm. I am so sorry. She cried out louder as she was overwhelmed with pleasure and guilt at the same time.

You are forgiven. Said a voice, a little muffled and with a little giggle in it. When the voice didnt register as Angels, Sally immediately opened her eyes, at a smiling face staring at her. Neurons in her brain sent zillions of electrolytes within a zillionth of a second searching for the name for that face.

Chris. She her mind screamed finally making a connection.

For what I never know, Chris was still talking unaware of Sallys puzzlement, But after every real good orgasm, you always seem to say sorry and being a great girlfriend that I am, I forgive you.

She kissed Sallys spellbound lips and rolled to her side, allowing Sally to walk into the bathroom dazed, as she always did.

Once all alone, Sally stared into her own face on the mirror, unable to believe that once again her mind had required Angels face. She splashed some cold water to wash away any sign of pleasure reflected due to that image, just then her eye caught sight of her release between her legs making a thin trickle downward. Slowly her right index finger reached to stop its journey and traced it upward. As her body concentrated on its feel, her fingers morphed into a more slender one that didnt belong to her. Her gaze followed the hand to which it emerged from, then to the body and the face, and stilled at the sight of the dark brown eyes behind the glasses. Every vital function of her body stopped as her eyes kept its stare at the mirage.

Sal Chris voice from outside the door made her turn to the door for a fraction of a second and she turned right back but the face was gone, the eyes were gone.

Yes She answered as she tried to breathe again.

We are going to be late, remember Jen said noon. Chris reminded as finished washing her face on the basin outside the bathroom, and started to get dressed.

Sally and Chris had arrived to Berkshires County, MA late last night. They had checked into the same motel right next to the exit and had even got the same room, thanks to Chriss charming personality that came through with the desk clerk. Earlier that morning Jen had called to set up lunch time and to let them know about their plans for the rest of the day, as Sally had already explained, when Jen invites people, she makes sure their entire life or at least social life was in her hands, to which Chris had no objection as she was more than eager to get on the good side of the best friend of her girlfriend.

(At the restaurant)

God! I have missed this so much. You know us. Jen said still unable to believe that Sally had actually come.

Well, I just had to meet the unfortunate man that actually came forward to bare with you for the rest of his life? Sally answered making everyone smile.

Well, more than happy to. David corrected like an actor from an old black and white movie. To which Chris and Sally both looked at each other and shared a smile that clearly said, is this guy for real.

So, David what do you do? Chris took her turn to ask.

I am a sports writer for the local paper Berkshire News. David replied proudly.

No-sooner had David finished his answer, Jen had already produced a Berkshire News on the table and was turning it to the sports, Here, you are an English Professor, read his article on todays paper.

Well, let me catch up on the local news first. Sally said as she rudely intercepted the newspaper that was offered to Chris.

So, where did you graduated from David? Chris asked once again, trying to be polite.

U-Mass. David answered as Sally dived inside the wide covers of the newspaper.

Sally flipped through the pages scanning quickly through the headings not catching anything interesting. Then she turned the page again and again till she reached Davids article. She started to read it when a small box on the adjacent page caught her eye. She brought the paper forward to read the smaller print. Just as her mind started to transmit the words it read, her eyes widened and her mind went blank, except for one thought, Jack is dead? If she was asking herself or assuring herself of the fact she didnt know.

Can you believe that? Jen asked shaking the paper.

What? Sally asked quickly folding the paper as though she was caught in a lie.

Bershire News, editor is Chris college professor. Jen repeated the fact that conversation between David and Chris had just revealed.

That is good. Sally replied with a smile of relief.

You know what, I am going to her place after lunch to personally invite her for tonight, so do you want to come and surprise her? David asked Chris who gleamed as soon as she heard the proposition.

She would love to. Sally answered for her girlfriend who was a little numbed by the amazing co-incident.

Are you sure you dont mind us going to see her? Chris asked.

No, you go, I am a little tired of driving last night, Ill just take a power nap. Sally lied without even realizing she was doing so.

Well it is settled then. Jen said approving of Chris and being happy for her friend.

As soon as the lunch was over, David and Chris left for the professors house, Jen left to finish off with her preparation for the evening and Sally jumped inside her car and pressed the gas peddle accelerating to the house she hadnt visited in over three years.

The house which was now crowded with people dressed in dark suits and dark dresses, who spoke in whispers. As soon as she parked she realized that she should have changed, at least out of respect for Jack. But, it was too late to turn back, so she got out of the car and dug up her black semi formal jacket from the trunk, and adjusted it to look as formal as she could in jeans t-shirt and a black jacket.

She stepped inside the little house a little embarrassed that she had come without an invitation. But her worries immediately disappeared as a familiar face recognized her and came running to her, You came. She said hugging Sally.

Of course, Mrs. Riley. Sally answered as she tightened the hug around the old woman. I was in town and I read the obituary and came right away. What happened?

Oh! You know old age and stubbornness. I told him to stop smoking, but he just wouldnt listen. Mrs. Riley said as she broke into a sob. Well, actually it wasnt the smoke, but Doctors said if he had at least slowed down, he might have lived a little more. She managed to finish between her sobs.

But I am glad you are here. May be you can bring that girl down from the attic. She hasnt even said hello to the guests. Mrs. Riley said and took out her handkerchief. Just as she was wiping her tears, she regained her short lapse of memory and stared at Sally with a mixture of surprise and shock. Oh! How could I have forgotten? She asked aloud as she realized what she had just said.

Thats okay, Mrs. Riley, I really liked Jack, so I thought I would pay my respect. I will not disturb her. Sally said even though her heart had already started to bounce faster than the legs of a sprinter dashing for a 100 meters race.

Oh! That is so sweet of you. Thank you so much for coming, dear. Mrs. Riley said with genuine gratitude. Well, if you DO go upstairs, tell her I am calling her. She said as she quickly moved to the next person who had come in through the door.

Sally turned right around and headed to the door as she told herself that the reason she had come there was to pay respect for Jack and nothing else, but even as her head was saying that, her feet were midway climbing the stairs. Before she could regain the control of her limbs from her heart, the door to the attic was already opened and she was staring at the short curly haired, be-spectacled woman staring at a computer screen with a cigarette in her mouth and a bottle of wine in her hands reach, not to mention papers lying around the desk.

I said Ill be down in a minute. Angel said without even looking. Sally didnt say a word. Couple of seconds in the watch passed, as Angel took the cigarette off her mouth and contemplated, and then finally she turned.

Sally Rogers. She said as though she was introducing her to a crowd of people.

I was in town, and happened to see the obituary in the paper. I am really sorry about Jack. Sally said as her head finally started to work.

I know you liked Jack. So, I am sorry too. Angel said sympathetically. Both women paused. So you were in town? Angel asked casually.

Yes, Jen got engaged and she wanted to do a whole introducing him to her family and friend dinner. For Jen everything has to be a social event, you know her. Sally said managing a chuckle.

No, I dont actually. Angel retorted but with no menace. You knew her. She was your friend. She reminded.

Yeah, your whole, your friends are not my friends; my friends are not your friends thing. You certainly havent changed. Sally said remembering Angels one of many holier than thou theories.

And thats a hattrick. Angel announced as though it was a winning score. It hasnt been 4 hours since I walked back into this town and you are a third person to tell me that I havent changed. She said as she got up and moved closer to Sally. Stopping, about half feet from her, and asked Were you expecting or hoping me to change?

Sally looked into her eyes, for the first time after she had entered the room. She opened her mouth to reply, but there were no words, so instead she covered up, Mrs. Riley wants you to go downstairs.  She turned to leave but Angel quickly grabbed her hand. Just then Angels cell phone by the computer rang. Angel turned to the cell, then back to Sally, Dont leave. She said with almost as shaky voice as Sally felt. Please She added as she let go of her hand and sat back on the chair.

Yes. She answered. I thought I just cc-ed the file to you. Ok, let me check. Angel clicked couple of time on the mouse and spoke again. I am sorry, I forgot to send it to you, let me just do it now. She said as she closed the phone and stared back at the screen.

At first Sallys gaze remained at Angels back, but soon it moved to her hand where Angel had gripped. There was no pain, but the sensation she felt, her skin still remembered. She felt the same spot with her other hand as her mind remembered the last time Angels hands had touched her.

****Flashback*****

Get away from me. Angel had yelled as she grabbed her hand and pushed her back. But Sally had not lost her balance and ran to the door to block Angels exit.

Sal I am warning you, I am drunk, let me go before either of us do something that will hurt each other. Angel warned as she tried to make the short distance to the door.

But anger and jealousy rooted inside Sally had already thrown her common sense out, as she completely ignored an already on the edge Angel and pushed her inside, making her hit the corner of the bed and fall. Sally stooped down but not to pick her up, but to lean on her with her full body weight as she blasted with anger, You think you can just leave me? She grabbed her face with as much force as Angels teeth could withstand and growled right at it, You think you can hurt me. Dont think you mean that much. Girls like you come and go. You are nothing but a pretty fuck. She said as she pressed her face on the ground and tore her blouse as she screamed, Fuck thats all you are. FUCK like this. She said as she grabbed one of her breasts and squeezed it.******

Tears rolled out as Sallys own words spoken so long ago were finally allowed to surface shredding her heart to pieces. The pain caused by the mare thought of that night rose the temperature of her body to such an extreme that her unconscious fingers started to loosen her clothes to make it tolerable.

Only couple of feet away, Angels mind had also traveled back to that night. But it wasnt Sallys words that were echoing in her head but her own. I am just a FUCK to you? She had screamed the last thing she remembered before she had lost her sanity.

*****Flash back******

It was as though Angel had left her body and was watching a slow motion movie from far, as she watched her leg come between their bodies and push Sally causing her to fall back. She had instantaneously got up and jumped on Sally, pinning her both hands on top of her head as she ripped her clothes. She could see Sallys mouth open in the shape of NO but she didnt hear a thing, as she parted Sallys legs even though she was struggling like a fish out of water. She steadied her legs with her own as she shoved her fingers inside, then thrust it with no mercy. She could see tears flooding out of Sallys eyes as her hands quickened and deepened inside. See could see her face flood with pain and her body fight back, but the harder Sally tried to get away from her, more force she used to invade her core that she cared for. Her hands were still thrusting when everything went blank.

When Angel woke up, Sally and she both were still on the floor with their ripped clothing. She cried remembering what had occurred, and then even with her body that had completely soared she picked up Sally and put her on the bed. Just as she had done that, Sally woke up scared and shaken.

Dont you dare touch me, ever. She screamed as she ran out of their bedroom.

***********************

Dont you dare touch me. The words vibrated through Angels body as the bar of the file transfer on the screen completed it course and showed 100%. She closed the menu and turned to Sally who was standing only centimeters away from her, stark naked. She looked up trying to make sense of what she was seeing as Sally took off Angels glasses and pleaded, Please touch me.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Jen why are you panicking, she just might have gone to do some shopping or something. Chris tried to calm Jen who was pacing the room ever since she walked inside to find that Sally was gone.

Jen had noticed the page that had interested Sally so upon reaching home she had quickly scanned through it to find exactly what Sally had found. She had then immediately called Sally but there was no answer. Then she had desperately waited for Chris to come back, hoping the impossibility that Sally was just in deep slumber in the room, but she was proven wrong.

Whose purse is this? Jen asked as her impatience was making her angrier by the second.

Sallys. Chris replied.

Jen quickly emptied it on the table as Chris got up to protest. That is not right. She said as she hurriedly tried to gather the stuff that had fallen out. As she was doing so, Jens eyes landed on a black velvet box. She opened it and Chris looked at it stunned.

****Flash back

God, if I was straight I would like a guy to ask me to marry me with that ring. She had said pointing to the very simple gold ring with a square diamond surrounded by small sapphires.

You dont have to be straight to be asked for marriage. Sally had commented.

Yes, but gay marriages are not legal and the whole commitment ceremony hasnt really sunk in as marriage to me yet. She had replied. ***

Even Jen was taken back by the ring as she watched the expression on Chriss face. There was a small slip of paper on the top cover, Jen took it out and gave it to Chris to read it. Though Chris didnt want to, she still opened it and it had two simple lines on it.

Now that marriage is legal in MA. Chris, will you MARRY ME?
