When you enter the main door, You are looking towards the reception. Here
You receive the student identification card after being registerd for some modules.
You can find a cashpoint in the entrance hall of Becon building too. Cards of
many British banks and even of Czech ones e.g. the Maestro card of Komercni
banka are accepted.
Moreover, the dining hall the Terrace, two bars(the Sleeper`s bar and the Legends),
a student shop, an office of the Student Union, a job centre, a printing and copies making shop are
located in the Beacon building as well.
It`s possible that some of your lectures may be held here and not in the Octagon.
