For Even A Moment...

Late at night, alone in my room
I'm longing for that gentle caress
The feeling of your arms wrapped around me
Imaginging the look of your eyes gazing into mine
My arms aching for your touch
My eyes tired from holding the tears
How much longer must the days seem?
Not seeing each other for months
Do I love you, I do not know
But missing you hurts so much
So I'll settle for our late night chats
    And the casually written letters
For even a moment of happiness if worth it
    And I will remain hopeful
As I wait until our paths can cross again
