It was fate that brought Megan Kanne into the Junkpuppet family. She portrayed the role of Dr. Simone Powell in "The Surrogate", a role initially written as a male character (Simon). Once it looked like there were no older men capable of playing the part, writer/director John Simpson rewrote the part for a female and brought Megan into the cast. For a time, Megan almost played the role of Danni, but it was destined that Megan take on the role of the villainous Dr. Powell. She found things a little difficult stepping back into the evil doctor's shoes for the sequel--on the first day of filming for her character, she broke into a British accent. For the latter part of 2002, Megan will be touring the country (and perhaps overseas) with The Continentals performing group. Congrats!
