OUR MISSION:
Ladies and Gentlemen of Generations X and Y - (If you are between your early 20s and early 30s you are something of a crossover between these) Welcome to Jung On Cue, your official wake-up-call-to-action. Our age group as a whole lags sadly behind every other demographic in terms of nearly all that is important to our interests and advancement political power, financial savvy, and good old fashioned knowledge of the world around us. Some of this is due to the fact that were still young, but a good portion can be attributed to a dont/know/dont care/dont have time attitude regarding things like this. Perhaps its because we grew up at time when everything was doomsday: were going to be nuked, the hole in the ozone will get us, most marriages will fail and mean people want to kill owls. Its no wonder we spent the 1990s in a Beavis-and-Butthead haze.
We are out there trying to make a difference in the world and in our lives and in the lives of our loved ones. But until we recognize what issues are important to us and decide what we think about them, we will continue to be the undereducated suckers that todays politicians play us for. Well keep paying higher taxes, well keep getting downsized, and well keep being the American Chumps until we get smart. Thats where Jung On Cue comes in. This site, featuring commentary on issues important to our generation, is designed to get us thinking and discussing. There is no one right viewpoint of our generation. We should disagree with each other, argue and debate. I hope that here I can provide a forum for just that.
Heres the bargain I will write scathing commentary on timely issues. You read it, and post your arguements with me and with each other. Absorb the debate and cement your positions. Then I want you to take it to the next level. Start voting, writing to editors, working on campaigns, running for office, getting involved. From the time we were kids weve been hearing youre the next generation of leaders. Lets start taking charge today.

Jung On: The Enemy Within
There is a dangerous group of people living among us. They could be your friend, your neighbor, your coworker. Their philosophies represent real danger and threaten the very American way of life.
Jung On Cue Question of the Week: Are you worried about a continuing domestric threat? Please post responses on the JOC discussion forum.
