Featured Dilemma:
PDF to DWG - Adobe PDF to AutoCAD drawing
Marilyn,

There is no good way to convert a pdf back to a drawing file that I am aware of but, I have a work around. If you have Adobe acrobat you can export the pdf file as a jpg, gif or tiff and then bring that into AutoCAD, scale it, fit it, and trace over it. The other way is to open the pdf and hit the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard. The "print screen" with Windows 95 and higher, takes a snap shot of whatever is on your screen at the time you hit the button and puts that on your clipboard. You can then go into a paint program, paste it and save it in whatever format you want. After all that then you can bring your saved raster file into AutoCAD, scale it, fit it and trace over the redlines.

Good luck
Jim
Hey Jim,

I have floor plans that were originally .dwg files that were converted to .pdf files and then modified.  I would like to convert the improved drawings back to .dwg files to be integrated in a cable management software package.  Any good way to do that?
Thanks for your time.
