| Cary, Do you mean line deflection, azimuth, or bearing by the term "line angle"? If you are talking about bearing use: command: line pick starting point @123.32<n23d45'32"e Where 123.32 = distance of line and N23d45'32"E is the bearing If you are doing an Azimuth set your units with ddunits and set "direction" to north and clockwise. Then use the same as above without the NE in the bearing. If its line deflection, I copy the line then rotate it and use the lengthen command to make it the distance I want. There are a couple of lisp routines out there for this. I don't do it very often. Hope that answered your question. Jim |

| Dear Jim, Using the line commend, what is the convention in AutoCAD to input survey units as the line angle? There is no example in the Cad help menu. Thanks Cary |
