| DGN to DWG - Microstation to AutoCAD conversion | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Hey Jim, I am an obsessed Microstation ferret girl, and messed around for HOURS solving this dilemma. To make along story short: In the Microstation file: Pick file export; cgm out It is awesome. If one roots around, (in the "cgm out" menu box), there are options to (tediously, for perfection) edit the translation tables to customize fonts, layers/levels, line styles etc...the translation tables are compatible with AutoCad. The .cgm can be easily imported into AutoCad, and amazingly enough, into a Word doc. If Word has a big enough cache, then the original Microstation drawing can actually be edited in Word, by double clicking in the imported .cgm file. P.S. You are cute and smart : ) Thanks for the site! Jamie [email protected] |
