MY BEAUTIFUL ISLE OF SOMEWHERE Episode 3: Introducing Bucky Fuller and his city to set people free
I've brought along some
friends of mine, they'll help you understand Here's a chap that you should
meet, his name is Fucky Buller Now, Bucky here can fill you in
on where you're going wrong There isn't that much time
you've got to rectify the mess You're gobbling up the Planet
with estates by the score Now Bucky planned a City that
would set the people free It was for East St. Louis but of
course you might have guessed The architecture Fives allow are
symbols of their power No matter that there's wealth
untold belonging to all men Bucky tells in 'Critical
Path' the role that man must play And 'over-population',
Bucky said, is just a lie Your cities are fast cracking up,
you'd better read his book ET, I said, Why pick on me? I don't know silt
from clay He's only one of many who are wanting to be
heard I said from the beginning there's a lot you
have to learn We'll leave you for the moment but you must do
your research We'd like to help you all we can, it's
really up to you My name is Mrs. Aeneas Gunn, my book you may have
read I'd like to stay and talk with you, if you
wouldn't mind At the time, I wrote my book with all the best
intentions I speak now of Tasmania, of Trugannini * too How could they know the Greedy Fives would never
choose to share For sharing was the Essence, yet the Heart, the
very Core
THE CONQUERORS
They were hunted, they were poisoned, of land they
were bereft To the Island came a man to teach them meek and
mildness The moral of this story dear is to try and teach
the Five But it's Loving without owning that frees
mankind from care
