| Our wonderful journey began when we met through mutual friends on a blind date and we've been happily married since 2000. Our relationship is built on love, trust and respect and we are each other's best friend. In 2004, we experienced the joy of open adoption when our son, Mitchell, was born. We would love nothing more than to share our love with another child. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Julio is a kind and gentle person who has a charismatic way with children. Kids of all ages are drawn to his energy and enthusiasm. He enjoys teaching Mitchell and our nieces and nephews how to fish and play sports but also explains to them that "It's not about catching fish or winning a game...it's about having fun!" Julio also can't wait to teach Mitchell and his new brother or sister how to ride a bike! In his spare time, he loves bicycling, baseball, traveling, and listening to classic rock and roll music. Julio is a director of financial services and has a very flexible work schedule. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Julie is a warm and caring person. She's fun, outgoing, and loves children...and they love her! She thoroughly enjoys being a stay-at-home mommy and looks forward to the 3am feedings and burping all over again! On any given day, you can find her taking Mitchell and our dog, Kasey to the park, singing silly songs, building forts, or being our nephews' biggest cheerleader at soccer games. Julie loves animals of all kinds and enjoys golfing, cooking, and hanging out with family and friends. Julie worked in management in the high-tech consulting industry for many years. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Mitchell is a very happy, affectionate and curious toddler. He loves playing ball, going swimming and riding his bike. He also loves singing and dancing for any willing audience! He just finished his first year of preschool and is already reading and writing. We know he'll love having a little brother or sister because he follows his cousins around with complete adoration and talks about sharing his toys when the baby arrives. He can't wait to be a big brother! |
