We have many things to offer our children: unconditional love, a happy and peaceful environment, financial and emotional stability, and opportunities to explore their interests and talents. As parents, we want to share our values with our children and teach him or her to be honest and kind. Our children will be exposed to diverse cultures; Julio is of Puerto-Rican and Cuban descent. and Julie is of Japanese descent. We plan to teach each of our children about his or her heritage as well as ours and instill that every child is unique and special. Most of all, we want our children to feel loved and be happy. |

Both of our families are very important to us. Our parents and siblings live nearby and we see them often. We celebrate birthdays and holidays together and enjoy family fun days by going to amusement parks, taking in ball games or going bowling. Julio is the second child of 4 boys and Julie has 2 older brothers. Both of our parents have been happily married for over 50 years and we have 8 wonderful nieces and nephews whom we cherish, (ages 1 to 14 years old). Our families are delighted about our decision to adopt again and they are extremely excited about the prospect of a new grandchild, niece/nephew and cousin to love! |

We also have a furry family member named Kasey, an adorable Bichon/Poodle mix who we rescued from an animal shelter. She's very affectionate and gentle with children and loves playing ball, having her belly rubbed, and giving sloppy, wet kisses. |

| We are very active and enjoy being outdoors, whether we're going to the beach to play in the surf or up to the mountains to throw snowballs. We are also huge sports fans and love going to baseball and hockey games. We enjoy traveling and exploring different cultures, lifestyles and foods. We've traveled to many countries but our favorite destination is Hawaii where we go each year to visit Julie's relatives. We love to keep busy and have fun! |

We live in a lovely, sun-filled house in Irvine, California which is only minutes away from the beach and Disneyland, and a hop, skip and a throw to many parks and playgrounds. Our home is very open and spacious and our backyard has a pool and yard area with plenty of room to run around---perfect ingredients for playing hide and seek or having family and friends over for pool parties and barbecues. Irvine is one of the safest cities in America and ranks among the top educational systems in the nation. |
