| In what is starting to become a tradition, we spent our Memorial Day Weekend this year in Washington D.C. We were here in 2004, and then 2005 was spent in the Pacific Northwest. Now that we're living in North Carolina and DC is only 4.5 hours away, it was a no-brainer of where to go this year. We love DC - such a fabulous place! | after walking down The Mall we hit the Museum of American History which was very disappointing. Some good exhibits, like the original Star Spangled Banner, but overall it was a pretty poor museum.
