| 11/01/05, cont. After lunch we headed to Conwy Castle a few miles up the road. It was finished in 1287 and was once again one of Edward I�s castles. I know we�ll have some pics to see, but Conwy Castle was clearly the most impressive one we�ve seen so far. Totally amazing. It started to rain (again) once we got there, but it wasn�t too bad. We spent a long time looking around the castle. |

| When we were done and the rain was starting to get to us we headed up the road to Llandudno, a resort town at the NW tip of Wales. It�s obviously a popular vacation spot and even though it was 10/31, there were still a lot of people around. We went to a small tea room/restaurant and had some tea & scones � very good. It was now around 5pm so we headed home to Llay. For dinner we walked to the local chip shop and had, of course, fish & chips. Good stuff. The trick-or-treaters in the town were pretty lame � not much effort in the costumes. The rest of the night was spent in the usual way before heading to bed. Woke up early today and Marie brought us to Manchester Airport where we�re currently waiting for our flight to Dublin. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
