This webquest is intended for 6th grade humanities students who are studying Ancient Egypt.  The lesson is anchored in social studies, but because students will be practicing search skills on the Internet, as well as reading and writing, it will also involve technology and language arts.  This webquest should take approximately one week; students will work independently.

Before beginning this webquest, students should have an understanding of basic computer and Internet navigation skills, and a basic background and understanding of Ancient Egypt.
