| Awfully Big Adventure Amsterdam to Norway |

| Howdy again, We spent some time in Amsterdam and the Hague which was good for a change. We saw all the sights, old stuff, coffee shops and did some cycling. Due to the extended stay in this area we did not go to Copenhagen but to Norway instead. Amsterdam to Bergen July 27th (3.5 hours) While we were packing the plane we met the airport manager who took our photo as we were only the 2nd round the world flight that had ever visited their airport. The photo is supposed to make it in some local flight magazine. Stay tuned. We did not fill up the extra tank due to weight considerations as we were on a short, grass runway. There was also the extra passager (the mouse) who has been busy in our absence and ate some more remaining food. As long as he doesnt chew on the wiring we should be okay. However, we took off without incident and soon left the Sunday crazy fliers for higher altitudes where it is safer. We passed over alot of dykes that were lined with many wind turbines. However, once we passed over the North Sea it became very cloudy and we did not see much after. The flight was quick owing to a good tail wind and the landing at Bergen went without problem despite the low cloud level, rain and gusting winds. (Jason's skill of course) A typical summer day for Bergen, raining and 15 degrees. Apparently they had summer last Wed. Bergen has rain for 240 days per year so Canadians should not complain. We plan to spend a few days here wandering around in the rain before moving to Iceland on Tuesday (July 30th) which should provide some good photos and an interesting trip. The photos of France are now on the site. For some reason the photos from Amsterdam are a bit blurry.....
