The Maddie Report

Monday night Maddie got dressed up in her Halloween costume, which is a cheerleader outfit.  I put pigtails in her hair and white tennis shoes.  She looked absolutely adorable.  We went to see her Gammy at her office.  Gammy works at the high school.  The art teacher wanted to take her picture for the yearbook in her outfit.  So, Maddie will be in the class of 2000 yearbook.

After Maddie had her picture made, she was in a bad mood.  We were walking down the hall of the school and she saw a picture on the wall that she wanted to see.  At that moment, a woman was walking  by and walked in front of the picture.  She stopped to talk to Maddie, not realizing that she was blocking Maddie's view.  Maddie ran up to her, pushed her and told her to "Stop!!!...Stop!!!".  It was very rude.  I was shocked.  I told Maddie that that was very ugly and she started crying and screaming.  Very embarrassing.

Friday, Maddie's daily report slip had the word 'pottied' on it.  No explanation or anything.  I haven't been rushing Maddie with the whole potty thing so this surprised me.  We've discussed it, but Maddie has not been interested at all.  Saturday was a different story.  All day long, Maddie would say "Pee Pee on potty" and we would run to the bathroom.  She would have already gone in her diaper before we got there though.  I got her some pull-ups and Sunday she wouldn't have anything to do with the potty.  Go figure.  We'll see what happens this week, she tried the potty again this morning, but no luck.
